It has been years since we enjoyed a meal like we had tonight. The food (mixed grill and SeaBass) was all cooked perfectly. I was able to cut the filet and venison with my fork. The atmosphere was perfect. We were able to talk without raising our voices. Our waitress Halee knew just when to come over to check on us. Never over bearing and very pleasant. First time going here, but won't be our last.

Food, and service was great. Kai did a phenomenal job. Petite Steak Burrata was very good.

The service and food was very good, amazing options for the price and the focus of the restaurant. The place could use slightly more lights, but otherwise I heavily enjoyed the time I was here.

I went to Diamondbacks in Waco last night with two friends to celebrate my birthday. The hostesses were very sweet when we arrived, and our server was kind and polite. However, the overall service was very poor and the experience did not match the price point.

We were there for about two hours and barely had service for most of that time. We also noticed other tables being shown boards with the different steak cuts and having them explained by their servers, which never happened for us.

The steak itself was bland and lacked flavor, and the sides were subpar. We were told a birthday dessert would be brought out, but it never came, which was especially disappointing since this was meant to be a special celebration.

Honestly, the only standout part of the meal was the bread and butter, which were phenomenal. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below my expectations for an establishment like this, and I left feeling really sad that my birthday dinner was not the experience I had hoped for.

Went last night for my sister’s birthday dinner, & ended up being very disappointed. The hostesses were nice but that’s about it. Our server hardly came to check on us & the food was meh. Definitely expected more for a $200 dinner mind you. Probably won’t be going back

Exceptional!!! We booked a private room for my brother to propose to his girlfriend. (She said yes) The room was beautiful, service was amazing, and the food was delicious! Fried shrimp was my favorite along with their mashed potatoes…cheesecake…chefs kiss! Prime rib was excellent. We love going here!

Sliders were great/happy hour but a little overdone; it was so dark we had to use our phone light to see the menu.
Service was outstanding.
Will eat here again.

First Tres our server was outstanding. I recommend you ask for him. Also, we had such pleasant dinner and the steak could be cut with a fork. Highly recommend.

Was here for a private event and this place rocks. The fish portions are a bit small for the price but otherwise, this is a great place!

DiamondBack’s in Waco is an excellent choice for a nice night out. Great steaks, flavorful sides, and a classy, comfortable atmosphere. Service was attentive and professional, and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. A solid spot for date nights or special occasions.

My grand daughter graduated Baylor. We had a party of 11. Reserved the wine room. We were redirected to an area that were high tops that you couldn’t stay in and slid out. Dinner took 3 hrs. Food came out sporadically, no water, ate around all dirty plates and drinks that were empty. Nothing cleared for an hour… We were leaving without our entrees and they started bringing them a few at a time. We were prepared for champagne toasts, drinks, appetizers, entrees and a wonderful evening. Apparently a much more important group took our joy.
We won’t ever forget this experience unfortunately.

Absolutely the worst fine dining experience I’ve ever had. Our granddaughter graduated from Baylor and we made reservations a month in advance to have a celebration meal there. I would go through the list of how incredibly poor the service and experience was, but it would take too long. I’ll, of course, never go back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

To start out the food was great but then the visit went downhill. We ordered salads, no salads were served. The waiter/bartender seemed to forget we were there. When we asked for a doggie bag everything was dumped into 1 cardboard container including the creamy Cajun Seafood dip, no care was taken. When you pay $70 for a steak, you expect the service to match. The order for the couple sitting next to us was not correct either. We did sit at the bar and it was Tuesday 12/2. We were there for our anniversary.
