My boyfriend and I loved the atmosphere of this coffee place. We went here for a coffee date and also shared a delicious muffin! We would definitely go again.

Espresso Martini was great but vibe was poor. If you've never been there, the set up is confusing. I tried to ask one of the baristas (she was not doing anything) how it all worked and it took probably 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, mind you by another employee that had just walked up. Then we were told that alcohol was served on the other side at the bar. We walked over to the other side, but the awkward part was the bar had full seating but you were required to order at the bar, so you're kinda having to awkwardly stand in between a bunch of people sitting at the bar to order and go sit at your own table. Just a very strange set up. I think this kinda vibe would be acceptable for a dive bar but for a place that wants to be an "upscale" nightlife coffee bar, they missed the point.

I went to dichotomy this morning before work as I work next door. Took a few minutes before they took my order took 10 minutes for my drink to be made even with no one in front of me and then before the barista makes my drink more people come in after me, mind you still not making my drink, takes their order starts making both, can’t remember what cup is what and makes me taste my latte bc he has no clue what is what???? They also touch the coffee grounds with their bare hands which is unusual to me.
I enjoy dichotomy, I’m going to continue going, I don’t mind waiting a while when there is a line, but that wasn’t the case. I write this review with hopeful change. Also $6.98 for a latte with syrup seems like a lot when most places around here are $5-5.50 for this. Please improve dichotomy, I like you!

Coffee and whisky. Can’t go wrong. Decaf cortado was quite good especially given the decaf part. Whisky selection has some nice options that aren’t common. Bartender Chris recommended a Bomberger which I hadn’t tried-very nice. And props to Chris-he clearly puts a lot of effort into having really good options. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Waco.

The place is decent, lovely art on the walls and a very loud and street hipster style. The limited menu of drinks and coffees at premium prices aren’t up to par with other local establishments. You pay for the experience of the atmosphere here.
