The Dickey's on Bosque in Waco, Texas is ridiculous, they don't answer the phone, the mailbox is full all the time and the guest services is inadequate as well, so if you think you're going to get some reprieve from them, you're sadly mistaken, the apple don't fall far from the tree!! Its sad you can't even place an order.

Since I moved to Moody and sometimes shop in Waco, I was delighted to find a Dickey's BBQ there as I loved going to them in Las Vegas when out shopping as they had the best fried okra. I've been three times to the one by Hobby Lobby and only able to get my okra the first time. The other two times I was disappointed because even though I was there during hours they should be open, they were closed.

The crew of this store got handed quite the mess, but they are working hard to turn things around. The manager was kind enough to make my mother-in-law some food she could have even though it wasn't on the menu!! Stellar service and good food. ❤️

Went here for a lunch with my girls. Super friendly and welcoming staff. They were very accommodating to what we ordered even when things were unavailable. Awesome staff! Daisy the manager was very friendly.

Some of the best BBQ I've had in Waco! Very good food and the helpings were huge. Definitely will be a repeat customer. The staff was excellent and very friendly and prompt. Great job!!

My co-worker and myself tried to order food to be delivered but the order would not go through on the website, we even tried to change it to carry out. When we called to place the order, the employee said they were fully booked and could not take our order. He said they could only take it if we paid over the phone. I told him we could pay over the phone, but he told me no he couldn't take the order because there was a line outside the door and to try grubhub or another delivery service. I understand the issues with being short staffed, but it was a bit of a shock when we couldn't place an order over the phone, and because we couldn't order online or over the phone, we took our business elsewhere. Which is sad because the food here is good.

This is the best barbecue I've had in a long time! I always stop here whenever I'm in the Waco area!! have always had the most AWESOME FOOD AND GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE!! Highly recommend if your hungry for GREAT BARBECUE!!

The food is great here! We tried it for the 1st time today - ordered online. I made a huge mistake & ordered large quantities. We rushed there & they were so nice adjusting everything. We will definitely be back!!

Visired this location a few weeks ago during family vacation. To keep it short...The person taking our order was very polite and professional. The other 2 employees were rude to not only our group but also to the couple behind us. Our orders were messed up twice and upon bringing it to their attention,said 2 employees were very rude.

Was not good at all. Baby back ribs was almost burned. The giant baker fully loaded (cheese, sour cream, butter & chives) with brisket only had cheese & brisket. And wasn't giant. The person at the register didn't know how to take a Dickey's gift card, so had to pay. Love the Dickey's in Corsicana. Will not be back to the one in Waco though. Sorry.

The worker was on a call on his personal phone for starters, I ordered two sandwiches- a sliced brisket sandwich and a jalapeño kielbasa sausage sandwich. My brisket sandwich bun was saturated with whatever oil is used to toast the buns which was not toasted - he then hacked up my brisket to like mush, My sausage sandwich was even worse, the sausage itself was barely warm. The brisket sandwich was so soggy I could squeeze the oil from the bun.

Dickey's BBQ, the chain, has great BBQ. Dickey's is open when other BBQ places are close. Don't go to this Dickey's off Bosque in Waco. The service is so bad it is comical. It would be funny if you don't go in there when you are hungry. Hunger and bad service don't mix well. The employees don't seem to understand that the customer is hungry. The employees are not kids either. It could be that the location is so slow that the employees don't want to do anything. I've gone to this location 3 times. The first time it took so long for the counter help to recognize me that I gave up and went somewhere else. The second time I got food to take home, so my expectations were set to eat later. I went to this Dickey's last week for lunch. It was 106 degrees outside, it was hot inside. There were 2 ladies in front of me who ordered, paid, and were given drink cups for the self serve. They found no ice in the machine and told the cashier. They stood, waiting for ice for at least 5 minutes. The cashier checked the machine and confirmed, no ice and told them she would have to go get ice, from somewhere else. Then she doesn't go get ice. She stands around instead. She told the guy making my plate, "we're out of ice." He told her, "you'll have to go get ice." She doesn't go to get the ice. Neither of the 2 ladies chose to get luke warm tea, water, or soda in their cup. They didn't sit down to wait, but were standing there waiting and holding their cups. I was not going to stay until I knew that I would have ice in my soda. I told that cashier to go get the ice and she got huffy and then she got defiant. It was hot in there, so things got pretty bad. She yelled at me to leave and I was glad I did.

First time coming here and the first thing I did was get great service. The restaurant was clean and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. The food was so good I liked the self serving of bbq sauce? and the pulled pork sandwich was very filling and the potato salad and waffle fries were delish. Thank you will be back soon!

The new owners are doing great. Great tasting food, many different options, celebrated a birthday here and had plenty of room for everyone in the large dining area. Go try it out for yourselves, you won't be disappointed!

Went in Dickey's for the first time in 5 years. I ordered chopped sandwich and husband ordered the Frito bbq bag and both were awesome! Meat was juicy and there was plenty of it. Dining area was very clean and the workers were very friendly!
