Food was good but this is more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Food served on a tray, no napkins, no utensils and not much else going on. Place is fine for carry out but that is about it for us. We need to find a more upscale Mediterranean place for a more classic meal

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise as I had no idea what to expect as a first time customer. The food was excellent and very flavorful. The service was sort of slow as we arrived before the main dinner guest for the evening. I was not impressed with being served on styrofoam plates.

Stopped in for a late lunch while in town so it was pretty quiet. Definitely a place we'd stop by again next time to try more dishes. As it was, the teenager raved about the Greek chicken salad, and my husband and I really enjoyed the gyro and falafel. I forgot to order pita chips I'd seen in a review pic until after I was already full and noticed them on the salad. Stole a couple and will make room for them next time.

Hi there. I'm from Toronto. We were visiting McGregor, TX and came out to pick up some food from D's. The food was excellent and tasty. Thank you sir for your service and kindness. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Wonderful food. I was here visiting family and was craving lamb. Found this hole in the wall spot and loved it. Great falafel and large portions. The workers there are also super nice.

I sensed and appreciated that things were made to order, and enjoyed the unique flavors. People need to know that the prices are steep ($20+/plate) and the portions are somewhat small. The styrofoam cutlery and dishware were a letdown. Playing music of some kind on a loudspeaker will create a more hospitable atmosphere in your restaurant.

I visited this place and discovered they were out of halal food, with only lamb available. I'm giving it 1 star because the website didn't mention the need to call ahead to check for halal food availability. I recommend anyone planning to visit to call and confirm in advance.

Absolutely baffles me seeing reviews saying “ actual authentic Mediterranean food” ? not even close. Using American processed foods, that gyro meat looks disgusting. Provided by who.. Sysco foods or us foods ?? Goto Athens and find a gyro that resembles anything close to those of this place. Turkey as well, you won’t. The dolmadas look so bland ( fyi meat inside is so uncommon) this is as far from traditional as can be. Bunch of buffoon Americans that have never had actual mediterranean food in a Mediterranean region telling you this is authentic. And you’re paying twice the price for these products than you would in Greece or Turkey loaded with processed garbage. This food is an insult to mediterranean food.
