Absolutely disgusting. We stopped here on our way through Waco and we're shocked on just how bad the food was. The children's chicken fingers and the Nacos were burned. The meat was hard and all other food had no flavor. Everything was very bland tasting. We were very disappointed. An enchilada plate comes with rice and beans and a taco and the beans tasted awful and the taco seemed it was just packed with the refried beans. We will not be coming back. I would recommend Mercados Mexican restaurant on Burnet road in Austin.

I've ate there for both breakfast and dinner. The food never disappoints. The service is ok but the staff isn't very attentive. It can be very loud at times im not big on that kind atmosphere. Overall its a decent spot with authentic Mexican food. Ill always go back for the amazing food.

Witnessed a customer request a refund for a wrong order and the staff turned the entire environment into a lock down - bad enough the food was not good, tasted old i was ready to leave but to see the staff call the police after refusing to give a refund to customer who immediately did not want the incorrect order handed to them - the same staff LIED FALSELY stated that customer threw salsa creating an atmosphere very uncomfortable knowing what took place from beginning to end - strongly feel place raided to make sure the staff is fit to work on US the people there are unreal with customer service serving bad food and when customer not satisfied call and make false reports lying about the only way to receive a refund is by providing a passport who carries a passport simple when paying with a debit/ credit card - bad food horrible service - ICE PLEASE VERIFY EMPLOYEES AND MANAGEMENT- something is not right !!

The worst experience ever - there is a communication barrier and they will call the police instead of giving a refund on a wrong order they admit to giving however make false reports when believing I would leave - completely falsified a report “throwing salsa” when only requested a refund - she stated unless I paid with cash I MUST present a passport for a refund very bad service and two days now been asking to speak to manager and if not hung up on by associate told manager not there bad service forced to take stale chips and hot horchata very bad service food is old

1 person meal, my order total was $29.83 without tax or tip, monteray chicken was meh the veggies had more flavor than the chicken, rice was fine, salad meh, Queso price was ridiculous for what was given, looked like some was taken out. The 4.68 fountain drink was insane. Will not be going back, And sadly my department and I eat out a lot and this is right down the street from our office...but we wont be coming here. |

Will call the police over a refund on an order they repeated to confirmed, refused to remake, then when asked if we could just get a refund, refused! Called cops making false claims. There are way too many cameras for them to make false reports, and for us to act like fools. No thank you! DO NOT RECOMMEND! The drama over bad service isn’t worth it.

THE INSANITY! DINE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! I went while visiting a family, we put in our order, the order was read and confirmed back to us verbally, GOT THE ORDER WRONG! Tried again, repeated, not sure where the miscommunication was, but THEY REFUSED to correct, requested to go ahead with a refund. She got angry, called cops infront of us falsifying I was throwing food?! There are too many cameras, always, to be acting like a fool like that. BE AWARE!! They have no problem stooping low to keep your money after they mess up your meal!

We were overcharged on everything! My husband ordered a $15.99 meal, $2.99 coffee. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos $2.99 each. We were charged almost $17 for his meal, over $3 for the coffee. Almost $9 for my 2 tacos, plus a $2.30 "fee" for ordering "extra" I didn't order anything extra, I ordered exactly what was on the menu. Making my tacos almost $12...$12 for 2 tacos!! Chicharones and egg. Nothing else. (None of that is tax included) We were told the manager, a woman rarely goes in and they didn't know when she would be in. First, they said we were charged more for paying with a card. I understand some places do have a "fee" for that. But, one it's not posted anywhere that there is a fee for that. Secondly, there should be one fee, not charging a separate fee for each item! Lastly, it wouldn't be an almost $7 fee!! (Which she said it would have been .60¢ fee) Then she tried saying we were charged extra because we ordered breakfast after 11. No maam...it was about 9:30 when we sat down, and even then it would have only been .99¢

Went there because of the ratings. Nice place, but my food was nothing special, however my wife really liked hers a lot. To me it is your typical Tex-Mex place with a better than average interior, but I really need to return to try one of there other dishes.
