We were overcharged on everything! My husband ordered a $15.99 meal, $2.99 coffee. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos $2.99 each. We were charged almost $17 for his meal, over $3 for the coffee. Almost $9 for my 2 tacos, plus a $2.30 "fee" for ordering "extra" I didn't order anything extra, I ordered exactly what was on the menu. Making my tacos almost $12...$12 for 2 tacos!! Chicharones and egg. Nothing else. (None of that is tax included) We were told the manager, a woman rarely goes in and they didn't know when she would be in. First, they said we were charged more for paying with a card. I understand some places do have a "fee" for that. But, one it's not posted anywhere that there is a fee for that. Secondly, there should be one fee, not charging a separate fee for each item! Lastly, it wouldn't be an almost $7 fee!! (Which she said it would have been .60Ā¢ fee) Then she tried saying we were charged extra because we ordered breakfast after 11. No maam...it was about 9:30 when we sat down, and even then it would have only been .99Ā¢

Went there because of the ratings. Nice place, but my food was nothing special, however my wife really liked hers a lot. To me it is your typical Tex-Mex place with a better than average interior, but I really need to return to try one of there other dishes.

The order didn't take long at all, everything was very delicious, the Chips are perfect without salt and look like they were baked. We are visiting Waco but I definitely recommend it.

Called and asked if they take carry out orders over the phone.. she said āweāre closed.ā Obviously not the case and she just wanted to get off sooner.. itās 30 mins before Google says they close. I know that sometimes the hours listed might be incorrect and need to be updated but the fact that she answered the phone in the first place makes it obvious that they are in fact open and she just didnāt wanna deal with it.. after I asked if I could still came up in person and order that way, she hung up on me. Sucks cuz Iāve never been here and it looks like their food is good from the pictures so I was excited to try it out but definitely wonāt be going now.

Donāt get me wrong, the food and service was good but the reason for the 3 stars is the waitress forgot to bring us our drinks and the place was empty. She brought out the food before the drinks and we ordered the drinks first. As far as the food goes it was tasty, but Iām from El Paso where they serve authentic Mexican food. Here it was texmex style. I ordered the machaca plate. The shredded beef was hard and dry and they give you whole half jalapenos unlike El Paso itās chopped. When I complained about it, turns out thatās the way itās serve. Like beef jerky. Thinking about it, it did say carne seca ādry meatā on the menu. Back in El Paso itās soft and tender and thatās what iām use to, but in all i do recommend this place.

I was trying to find a new good place for a good fajita burrito and decided to stop at Charro Tapitio. I ordered one that was suppose to have steak fajita with beans, rice, bell pepper and onion, sour cream, guacamole and cheese. I totally didnāt get what I ordered. I had no sour cream on it and they added lettuce and tomato on it . I was on my way to bury my grandson so I didnāt have time to take it back. Needless to say I had to trash it cause hot lettuce and tomato is no bueno for me and not having the sour cream was a bummer also. The freshness of it was spot on tho.

Wow, wow, wow! I've been going to this restaurant for years and the food has always been great! However, as of about a week ago, it opened after being completely transformed! The ambiance now is simply stunning! It's like a museum of Mexican art. There's beautiful art not only on the walls, but every table, every chair, and every booth is a unique piece of art. This is a must see and must experience restaurant! The staff were super friendly and gave great service. They give generous portions of food, and I've always liked what I order. The chips and salsa are free. The meat is quality (some places it's fatty). And I love horchata. Apparently, they will deliver large orders like for an event. This Thursday, they are going to have a Mariachi band there. Do yourself and your family or friends a favor and go to this restaurant! Ā”Guau, guau, guau! He estado yendo a este restaurante durante aƱos y la comida siempre ha sido excelente. Sin embargo, hace aproximadamente una semana, abriĆ³ despuĆ©s de haber sido completamente transformado. Ā”El ambiente ahora es simplemente impresionante! Es como un museo de arte mexicano. Hay arte hermoso no solo en las paredes, sino que cada mesa, cada silla y cada cabina es una pieza de arte Ćŗnica.
