I rate every place based on what I expect for the type of restaurant. This is a fast food Italian place, so I'm not rating it like a nice Italian restaurant.The place was not very busy so I was surprised that with a full staff, there were quite a few dirty tables. It took us a bit to find one we were comfortable eating at. Also, the first few utensils had food residue on them which indicates their dishwasher needs attention.As far as the food we both thought it was tasty and good portions. I got the chicken parmigiana, my wife got the GF pesto pasta, and we got fettuccine Alfredo to go. All of them tasted great. For $10 each we got a much better meal than we'd get at most fast food places. Next time I'll likely get it all to go to avoid the dirty tables and utensils. Unless management addresses those issues, we won't be back inside.

For a place where you basically serve yourself, this is OK. It is good basic Italian food. Nothing special, but it is filling, and the price is lower than average for the amount of food on the tray. Reasonably priced comfort food. I did think it would have been nice if the order taker had given me the "special" price when I ordered the Thurs. special without realizing it was the special. Not a word was spoken, so I paid full price for the "special" of the day. Check the sign before you order. Lesson learned!

The fazolis in Waco dr is far better than the one near Baylor. The service And , food, always is great I like to order online and then go pick up it always seems faster than way because when you order through the drive through it takes longer because the food comes out fresh (which is a good thing). Just if your on a time limit go ahead and order ahead.
I don't know what is going on with this place but it seems like every time I visit this location I am stuck in the slowest drive thru in Waco. I was there for 25 minutes today and after all that wait the pizza wasn't even fully cooked and had to throw that away.

Every time we've done, take out, we have found it a little dry. They need to put more sauce on everything. It's like they are only allowed to put one ladle of sauce on anything.

It’s a pretty good spot for yummy fast food where you can walk in and not stink when you leave. Yummy breadsticks and sweet tea. They don’t have coke. I’m not worried about it, but some folks could be worried about it.It’s pretty decent for price, I think. Chicken’s usually more on the dry side, but it’s fast food so it’s not that big of a concern.One other tiny detail is that there is no salt and pepper in the utensil packet. This is also not a deal breaker, but it’s good to know.Just today, these noodles are disappointing. I ordered “creamy basil penne.” Many noodles don’t have anything, and it’s not really saucy at all.Parking: The spaces are narrow. If you have a big ol’ truck, park on the edge of the lot. You’ll be fine :))
