Everything was great! Price, food, service, and atmosphere. Belle was our waitress and was legitimately the best, most genuine waitress I've ever had. Was absolutely fantastic with our 5yr old daughter and always on top of refills. My daughter has a "new best friend" now. THANK YOU!

George's was amazing!! Let's start with the star of the appetizers - the onion rings. They were hands down the best I've ever had, perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. The nachos were another hit, loaded with toppings and incredibly satisfying. The parmesan encrusted redfish was excellent. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy and flavorful Parmesan crust that added a delightful twist to every bite. The cobbler was simply divine, with a delicious fruit filling and a perfectly baked crust that melted in my mouth. And to wash it all down, the eclipse margarita was just what I needed - the right balance of spicy and sweet, making it a refreshing and enjoyable drink.Overall, I highly recommend this place for its outstanding food, impeccable flavors, and great drinks. It's definitely a dining experience worth repeating.

I wanted to eat alone at the bartop and I think the bartenders name was Alice, she was so great! Gave me so many drink recommendations and ended up choosing such a great refreshing drink. Food was AMAZING, will definitely be coming back especially to see Alice and get such great service again !
We ate here at Thursday evening 5:01 pm, at the George's 2, location on Hewitt road, Hewitt, Texas. Our waitress was Daniela.This used to be our favorite place to eat in town. But everything has changed and it's not for the better.We went to eat there on the patio. I ordered a Diet Coke as usual. The server, Daniela, never said that they don't have Coke products anymore. They have "their own version" of soda and it was horrible tasting. I feel they should tell the customer ahead of time, if they changed all of the sodas to a generic brand.They don't have Coke or Pepsi products. I got my meal (the Santa Fe salad) and tasted my drink, it was very not good. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak.We had to pack up our food and take our meals home, so that I could have something to drink with my meal. Had I known that they didn’t have Coke or Pepsi products anymore, I could’ve chosen a different restaurant, but we already had our food and everything so we had to pack it up and go home and eat it at home .We live nearby &. I'm very disappointed..

FOOD AMD DRINKS USED TO BE GREAT..Im unsure if there is different management or what but I asked for a Dr Pepper and got a.very light colored soda. Im from Waco so instantly realized that it was not Dr Pepper. I asked and was told they no longer served Dr Pepper or Coke products. I wouldn't havr even ordered anything if I jad known this. They brought me out 3 different sodas that wete terrible. This eas a terrible eating experience. Ive never had soda this bad. This will emd a lomg time lunch tradition for me amdy co-workers. Thsinwas a waste of $16.73

Over the weekend (March 23rd 2024) I ordered 3 kids meal order and 1 adult order.First I saw the ticket that was on my bag when I got home. The cooks or the service people really NEED to check the tickets because my ticket got cut off, which meant I was missing one of my kids meal spaghetti orders. But I wasn't going to go all the way back to Hewitt so I was very upset about that.Second off when I order the kids fish, the fish fillets were very skinny and dry\hard. The fish needs to be thicker or longer or both, I was very disappointed in that.Third off the food was cold.

George's is a Waco classic and one of my favorite places to eat in town! They have delicious breakfast with lots of great options and fantastic lunch and dinner choices too. Their menu is so extensive, there is something for everyone, and the service is always great! $7.99 weekday lunch specials are fabulous and budget-friendly. I have eaten at George's so many times, I can't count and have never been disappointed! Perfect with friends or family, George's is always a win!
