Great American Cookies

Associates do not greet customers, rude, order was not correct. Presentation is half of the product and the cookies were just thrown into a container. Some cookies contain nuts so anyone with nut allergies cannot have any cookies in the container. Waste of money and time.

The workers are very pleasant and kind, always welcoming and the cookies are always delicious! Lovely manager caitlin! Always so amazing and helpful! On my last visit I picked up a cookie cake, it was decorated beautifully! Thanks again yall!

I ordered a Dallas Cowboys–themed cookie (blue, white, and gray) and was really disappointed. They didn’t have gray or the darker Cowboys blue, and no one mentioned that when I placed my order. The person taking my order had an attitude until I asked if he was okay, then when I picked it up, “Touchdown” was spelled wrong!

I called the store and was told there’s nothing they could do because we consumed the cookie — even though I have a picture showing the mistake. I wasn’t asking for a refund, but they could’ve at least offered a small $10–$15 gift card or shown better customer service. It’s not about the money — it’s about taking pride in your work and treating customers right.
Let me add it was very thin!!

Be careful. These cookies are just cold packaged cookies. You can get fresher ones at the gas station.

Went in for cookie cake and was wondering why it was covered in icing. When I got home I realized its because its barely cooked. Absolutely inedible.

There was a young woman this morning who was completely rude and discriminatory towards my wife and kids. She took their order with such rudeness and then left her alone to check out even though my wife wanted to use cash so she had to use a card since the very unprofessional employee had no want to finish checking her out. She even had to grab her own receipt. I will never be returning here again. The older lady was very nice saying bye after my wife initiated the goodbye.

Great American cookie has always been a favorite in our house, not anymore. I ordered a square cookie cake for my daughter’s birthday. She only eats cookie cake, does not like cake. I also drive 25 minutes to get this as we no longer have a store in our area. I was pleased with the design but what happened to the actual cookie? There was way more icing and the cookie was so thin it was just a mess. What happened to the thick cookie? They had the thick cookie slices for sale. Normally a cookie gets devoured and no one ate it. If I had known it was that bad I wouldn’t have let anyone cut into it and returned it.

I got charged extra for icing. Did not get what I paid for. The ASM said she could redo but I did not have the time. She gave me 6 cookies to make up for it. I went to the store 3 times to explain what I wanted. She told me work does not provide work phone for me to forward the pic. I had to print and come back to make sure it was what I wanted. I picked it up and she was like no it’s extra. I said I paid and came 3 times. It was my first time shopping here. My daughter really wanted this for her birthday. I am a store manager and go out of my way to provide for my customers. I can’t believe the treatment I received. I will not be purchasing from this store again.

What i ordered vs what i got(minus the happy Halloween but happy birthday). I don’t know when they started doing blobs instead of flowers like what i ordered…also the writing is absolutely horrific. This is the 5th cake i have seen (my first picking up) that is either spelled wrong or done completely wrong and sloppy. I’m convinced they have my toddler working here writing and drawing on the cakes.

Had a really unfortunate visit here. Staff was too stressed with orders to help me fully and the cake itself looks nothing like the one I ordered from the website. Terrible spacing and design.

What the actual… ?! First of all.. the REMOTE?! Hahaha.. it’s not even in the center of the cake! And the R.. is hanging out by itself.. looks awful.. I want a refund.

My son loves cookie cakes for his birthday. We recently moved to the area and could not order where we typically do back home. My husband and I just happened to be in the mall and decided to try GAC for his cake this year. We were not disappointed. My son’s birthday theme was capybaras, but I wasn’t sure if they would be able to make anything with that theme. The girl behind the counter asked if I had a photo of what I was thinking. I showed her the photo of the decorations. She asked another person who said she was sure someone could come up with something. They took a photo of my photo and took my number just in case. I didn’t receive any calls with an issue and was pleasantly surprised at how cute the cake turned out when I picked it up. My son loved it!! Thank you so much to the staff for making an unusual theme happen. The cake was also delicious! We will be back for more for sure!
