Food not bad but customer service was terrible. I've been going here for years on Friday night for all you can eat catfish. Tonight was it for me. Dishonest business! I'll give you some advice, make sure each member of your party has a separate ticket. I went with a friend for all you can eat. I only had one helping. I went to ask for a to go box for my fries and coleslaw. She demanded my ticket which I gave her. She put a giant X on it meaning I couldn't have any refills of catfish. I get that. My buddy goes up for seconds, all you can eat right? Wrong! Because they put both orders on the same ticket they refused to refill his order. Not cool since we both paid for "all you can eat." He and I tried explaining and they couldn't be less interested in giving him what he paid for. Shame on this business owner and shame on his staff that did this. We won't be back. Drove 40 miles for this mess of a business btw.

I will go to my grave saying Griff's has the best burger in the Waco area. It's totally stealth, looking like some garbage grill in a no-name gas station. If this keeps people from packing the place out, so be it. They absolutely nail diner favorites. My favorite thing about Griff's is that it's a local joint. Not trying to be anything for outsiders. No trying to sell you on anything. It's as straightforward as it gets.

I love Griffs food , and have been going here for a good while now . But their customer service so is unacceptable !!! There is an older lady who is always at the front register, she usually has a very terrible attitude and always speaks very rudely towards customers. She makes griffs feel very unwelcoming . Went in to get breakfast this morning and she acted as she didn’t want to check me out . I told her good morning and nothing was said back . They need to get someone else on the register, that is actually going to greet the customers with a better attitude . If you don’t like your job , please find another :) !

Went for breakfast one morning, the prices for a nice American breakfast are way better than ihop or places like that. However, I found not just one but TWO long black hairs in my scrambled eggs. No lie. I don't have a weak stomach but I couldn't eat anything on my plate after that. I showed them the hairy eggs and no really seemed concerned. I suggested that the cook wear a hair net going forward, advice that didn't seem appreciated. I haven't been back.
