So went to go get a Hagan's burger today and the place is apparently closed. Very sad. This place had the best burgers and fries in Waco hands down.

Hagan’s was one of our go-to places before Covid 19. Great chicken nuggets (chicken bombs), homemade sauces and fresh cut fries (try them with Parmesan, you’ll thank me later), and their fried zucchini is the best I’ve had—the coating is light and offers just the right amount of salt. Yummmm!!!! I am concerned as we recently drove by and saw the signage gone. Please say you are just moving and will reopen soon. Hope to see the restaurant pop up somewhere new soon.

Received brochure in mail last fall, decided to give it a whirl last Saturday using the brochures coupons for free sides and called in our order for takeout! Glad we did! Great burgers, thick and juicy cooked to perfection, super fries, and outstanding onion rings, and all the fixings in separate containers to use as we wanted! We definitely found our go to place in the neighborhood!

Great food!! Kids love it and the fries are amazing. Try the garlic parmesan fries!! Well worth and the tea is exceptional. Will come again

Loved the fried pickles and fried okra. The breading was very light. The hand crafted soda was great. I had the coconut lime .

Will not go to this restaurant again. If you don't want to serve people before closing you should go ahead and lock the door early. Very poor business practice.

Went to Hagan's Handcrafted for the first time and LOVE this place. Everything about this restaurant is A+ great for me. I love the menu options, burgers are great and huge here (especially tasty on a sourdough bun!), the sides are excellent, and so much more. You can get the burger combo meal (burger, side, drink) for only $7!! I recommend that because the specialty burgers are huge. They serve best fried okra I've ever had, it has a thinner breading and it's perfectly crisp and then chewy inside, delish. The chicken nuggets are so fresh and crispy and sauces are on point! One of the unique products they offer are the drinks. They serve the yummiest artisan sodas and lemonade made with real sugar, not corn syrup (which is much easier to digest and easier on my liver)! Also there are caffeine-free drink options great for children or pregnant women. The staff is incredibly helpful, the food is amazing, great menu options, great drinks, food is affordable, the restaurant is new and super clean, so many booths open. I can't wait to go back!

Tasty burgers and some really tender chicken hit the spot! Love the Parmesan Fries, too. Not the cheapest burgers but you get what you pay for with these scrumptious customized cheeseburgers. Try the Black Cherry soda, too. It really rounded out the whole experience.

Great food. I like that you can choose your type of bread.

Good fresh MEAT you can see a signature burger thick meat burger hot and fresh! Cost is worth it! I couldn't finish my burger, probably because I stuffed down the hot fried pickles dipping in ranch and ketchup. Not enough foot traffic but if I could make suggestions as a frequent eat out diner person. Front Counter attendant make small gestures to help out your new customers or returning customers Such as: For 1.25 more you can add a drink! Such as 3.00 combo? How would you like that a burger fries and drink for 3.00 more I had already paid 1.99 more for fries! We ordered a burger and the chicken bombs delish fresh hot golden fried, but this was my first time. I didn't read the menu where it says 3.00 combo so they loss a dollar of my money ... cause my burger was 8.00 and my fries 1.99 I dint see for a extra dollar I could have had a soda! Which I don't normally pay 8.00 for a burger but my burgerr came with bacon grilleD onions and cheddar cheese! The front didn't ask if it was my first visit nor did I say! I am shy at times! Just ask and explain the mechanism of your operation of business. I saw a lady go to the side bar and followed her lead then gathere my side garnishes And then sat down oh wait I need ketchup and mustard?? Ok up again to get the rest to build your own burger concept ok I love it but need lots of hand holding my first visit! Did anyone say anything to me after I paid 19.44 NO... oh wait they called my name to tell me to get up my burger was ready.... none of that is bothersome but for hardly no customers coming and going offer your customer some TLC and help! Hey where is the drive thru? This is Hewitt? Fast fresh food concept living at its best. Open a drive thru and your will see more customers and more$$ with all of us spending $$ for great burgers !

I went in there today for the first time. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and when I told the cashier I'd never been there, she explained to me that it's a build-your-own burger place. If you get a specialty burger, you can pick your bun. They make the burger for you, then you go around the corner to a covered area where the tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, etc. are kept. I appreciated she took the time to tell me everything I needed to know. I got my husband the Wisconsin Burger (meat and cheese) with a Brioche bun, and I got the Bear Burger (meat, cheese, and bacon) with a Brioche bun. This is one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. I didn't get any sides, but I'm looking forward to trying them next time. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Excellent food and excellent service!

Great burgers, great fries. I don’t know why you’re still reading this review! It’s a burger place with great burgers and great fries!

I really liked it until recently. It seems they are doing away with all the things that made them different from all the other burger joints. No more hand cut fries, now they're just frozen from a bag off a truck type. The sourdough bread was great, but now that's gone. And the lettuce used to be fresh and they'd give a side of mayo in a cup, now it's a rip and squeeze packet. And, now they're closed on Tuesdays. It seems they made some decisions to cut costs, but also eliminated uniqueness, and didn't lower prices.
