We were on our way from San Antonio to Fort Worth and in the mood for BBQ for lunch. Looked up on Google Maps a place for good BBQ on our route. We originally thought we’d stop at Buc-ee’s for a quick sandwich, so glad we decided to try somewhere else.We ordered the two meat plates each. Both of us got the ribs and one got the brisket and the other got the sausage. Side orders were the beans, potato salad and cooked cabbage. All three sides were over the top delicious.The meat was smoked excellent. Love when the meat falls off the bone. The BBQ sauce was phenomenal.Nabota “Bot” Hilliard & Drea we’re the most pleasant folks and helped us with our decisions to satisfy our taste.Highly recommend Hillard BBQ. It was the best choice we could’ve made.

Exceptional experience! Stopped by on a road trip from Houston and ordered chopped brisket, ribs, and sausage. The level of smoke flavor is perfect. Wonderful bonus - the owners are super friendly!

Went to get brisket sandwiches with my boyfriend and I can say this is one of my favorite bbq place in waco! The potato salad is AMAZING!! The bread was soft:) not soggy at ALL.We will definitely be returning to get the ribs next time!! The price is great for students as well☺️ Very friendly as well! Hope to visit again?
