Absolutely delicious! I am very picky about Mexican food, and this place was FANTASTIC! I ordered the flautas. Not only were they delicious, they also looked beautiful and were served on an elevated wooden plate. You can tell the chef is very detailed and careful of his work.
The chef is also really nice and thoughtful, and he brought my order to me in the upstairs seating area.
Fantastic service, delicious food. Big recommend!!

What a hidden GEM in Waco. Some of the best eclectic flavors. Finding food where the chef/owner actually cares about the food, flavor, and presentation is special. Thank you for the fabulous food. You need to go and try this place, you won’t be sorry.

It wasn't very busy when I stopped by. The chef was sitting and having lunch or his dinner. They were out of steak so I said OK to ground beef. The beans were salty. He didn't hear me order a chips and queso so I had to do a second order. The quesadilla was soggy and the meat was kind of salty. The rice was basic. The chips were so dark. I never saw him wash his hands before touching the food and my bag was greasy and had food juices all over it. The quesadilla was not worth $16.65. The chips and queso were ok, but it was pretty run of the mill too.

Guys, this was the BEST torta I’ve had!! The bread was fresh and homemade, the chicken tinga full of flavor and the presentation was spot on. Don’t pass this up, give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Seriously, I ate it all, even though I was full after the first half!!

Eating at Huaco eatery was my #1 best eating experience in Waco! While looking at the menu, the owner offered a sample of the chips & queso, & I immediately chose to eat here. The chips are house made & not overly salted. I chose a build your own chicken bowl, & it was absolutely delicious! The strawberry on top really added a unique depth of flavor that I was not expecting. You can tell the owner is passionate and loves serving only the best to his customers! Go check this place out! You’ll be glad you did!

I rarely leave online reviews, but service was quick and the chicken quesadilla as well-prepared as any I've ever had. My kudos to the cook.
