It's been a few weeks since we visited. But no one greeted us upon entering, several young girls looked at us, not one smile. I don't care if you're a dishwasher, waitress or hostess -- you can always smile and say hello. The atmosphere is amazing and our waitress was new that same day we went and she was nice and friendly. The food was good overall but the black-eyed peas seemed dumped from a can.....not good at all. There was another veggie that was flavorless...
During our short stay in Waco, we've tried this restaurant and it's an absolute marvel ! Try their veggie quesadillas, it's awesome :) Bravo and good job to all the crew !

As for the food, I had the chicken fried steak with fries and fried okra. While the sides were tasty, the chicken fried steak wasn’t quite my favorite. I felt the gravy could use a little more flavor to complement the dish.
