A Wacoan favorite. I have to go every time I come back to Waco. Highly recommend the Texas Turtle - with hot fudge, pecans, and caramel, it's hard to beat! Otherwise, I highly recommend the Dirt & Worms swirl for all the kids or kids-at-heart.
Me and my husband stopped here today and got some ice cream which was pretty good and the worker that helped us was nice but our issue we had was there was no restroom. We asked and she told us they had no public restrooms. Me and my husband wanted to sit outside since it was a nice day but since they had no restroom we just decided to eat it at home. If a place has outdoor seating you would think they would have a restroom.

Katie's is a great place in and out. Great management, Great employees, great customers but most importantly great owners. I was the store manager here. Worked for them for 8 years and loved it. The bosses care for their employees which I rarely ever see in alot of workplaces. I'm going to miss interacting with my regular customers, miss having fun with the employees and having Katie's Custard. It's a great place to work so if you are looking. You don't see bosses caring about their employees in a lot of places especially managers. Alot of managers forget where they started and let power get to their head but not at Katie's. I wish so many more great years for Katie's frozen custard. Thank you Katie's for everything

My family really enjoys the custard from here and the staff is always friendly.
First time back in Waco in a few years. Went through the drive through planning to get loose meat sandwiches and custard. No loose meat sandwiches on the menu anymore so ordered Kraut dogs instead. Good quality, coarse ground meat in the dogs. We really enjoyed them.
The Butter Pecan custard was very good, it was a little melted by the time we ate it since it came out to us several minutes before the dogs did.

I dont usually write reviews but this experience just upset me. Why would you hand me a cone thats dripping on you and now me and my car? Then proceed to ask if I want napkins and hand me a cup to put the cone in. If my baby wasnt crying in the backseat I would have asked yall to remake it. But yall already took 10 mins to make the dipped cone. Dont waste your money on a business with low quality ice cream that has slow service.

Wow! Twice now I've came by to get some and were closed. First time was during the week so I understood not being open earlier in the day. I went again today on a weekend day and they don't open until 3. Come on missing much business so sad!
