Soooo I was turned on to L&L in California. When we got one in Waco I was excited! However, in California when I paid for a side of Mac Salad the entire container was full. The MOST disappointing part of this is paying $3.49 for a single 2oz scoop of Mac Salad. It literally is the cheapest thing to make and I can’t go without it because that’s how I love to eat my chicken Katsu, rice and sauce (all mixed together)! Please help out a L&L #1 fan.

I have tried this chain in San Antonio, and the Waco location’s food is quite a disappointment. Portion sizes are small, the food taste around 70% as good as the one in San Antonio, and the guy charged me $5.36 for a side portion of Kahlua Pork but never gave it to me. Very unprofessional!

Update: I called them and they immediately refunded me the money for the pork. That’s good service!

I usually steer clear of chain restaurants, but the Waco location of L&L Hawaiian BBQ proved why I’m glad I made an exception. This franchise stands out above the rest in freshness and flavor. Everything tasted like it was made with real care, not just cranked out. The staff were so friendly and accommodating!!
