Delicious!! After at 13 hour drive we stumbled along this steakhouse and got the 2 sirloins which were amazing I was happy they brought a little gravy bought of ajus out with it, it’s my favorite part!

The food was okay at most, the mashed potatoes were close to what you’d get with instant potatoes. The steak was probably the only decent thing here. It was dead freezing cold and staff weren’t attentive what so ever, maybe checked in on the table twice with the hour and a half we were there. All around I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for “decent” Texan food. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, it’s mediocre at best.

Loved the local flavor and people . Staff was friendly and welcoming. If your looking for a ruth chris over priced steak dont come here. If your looking for great food, good servoce and nice people come here. Love my meal.

Onion ring appetizer was absolutely massive. And they were decent. Wife ordered the chicken fried steak which was below average and I ordered the cream cheese chicken, which was very unusual. Had an unusual rubbery consistency that I’m not used to with chicken breast. The hand cut french fries were excellent but that’s about as far as I can go with good things to say. Over $60 for two people with the tip …Probably will not be back.

I ate here with my parents, grandparents, and sister this past weekend. We all raves about our meals and fell in love with the homemade ranch dressing. We tried the bread pudding and it was delicious as well, which says a lot because I’m typically not a bread pudding fan! Prices were VERY reasonable for the quality of the food. Will definitely be back!

Attended a birthday party here.
I had the fried catfish and onion rings. I really wanted to try the jalapeno pork chop but sadly they were out of it.
My husband had a steak. We both enjoyed our meal.

They let a dog eat off the table next to us not a service animal but a lil dog ! So very unsanitary then the served our food to the table with the dog realized it was wrong gathers it up then served it to us ! The waitress just looked the other direction with a blind eye while this Yorkie had its paws on the table and let the man and woman feed it steak ! Ruined our date nite ,then I had to get up to ask for rolls and a refill on tea and they weren’t that busy , we have been coming hear for 10 years and the service over the last couple years has completely gone down hill what a shame this used to be our favorite place we even used the punch cards since we ate there often but it will be quite sometime if we come back I hope the owners address the issues and take this very seriously on how much of a health hazzard this is and never allow this again !im not one for complaints but this was very disappointing and should have never happened !

Nice country steakhouse. Good service. Good food. Good price. A nice break from the chain brands that are all the same. Get there early on game night!

Our son in law begged us all to go eat here for lunch a week or so ago and Im really not sure where to begin... The service wasn't good or bad the whole time but we just didn't appreciate the fingers in our salad bowls and picking up fallen lettuce and putting it back in the bowls!! So 2 of us DID NOT salad... The chicken fried steak was so tough it was ridiculous and my daughter's chicken fried chicken was so dry and overcooked she did not eat it either... The meatloaf was nothing special and we left more hungry than when we arrived and went to straight to Arby's!! Never ever to return!!

I ordered the steak and fried shrimp combo meal. The steak was great but the fried shrimp was overly fried. It was hard and I wasn’t sure if there was actually shrimp in it. I order another combo plate with Steak and CFS. My husband said the CFS was good but not the steak.

Everything was great! Very friendly and they were very nice about my service dog that is still in training, will definitely be back!
