Their baked oatmeal is so good! Ask for it all the way! Can't go wrong with any of their pies either, my personal favorites are the buttermilk and fudge pies! Their prices are outstanding as well.
Fantastic Find! Low prices, great, and friendly staff. Thanks for the Gluten-free option! Homemade everything is hard to find!
One of my top two restaurants/cafes in Waco. Saturdays they have biscuits so that is my day of choice. Their breakfast and pastry options don’t really change, but their lunch changes all the time. So many yummy meals. I love the baked oatmeal and cookies. If stopping in Waco, you need to go!
An excellent bakery including “homemade” cinnamon rolls, cookies, pies, scones and grandmotherly affection from the owner.
We wanted to visit Lula Jane’s but we called first because so many breakfast restaurants we tried to visit that morning were actually “temporarily closed” when we went there. When they answered we stated “we just wanted to be sure ya’ll were open” her reply was. “We’ll I answered the phone!” We explained our situation and that we had drove to several places only to find them closed… she again replied with terrible rudeness. “I can’t help what other people do!! Goodbye!” Then she HUNG UP!!!How nice to have so much business that you think you should be rude to people. Poor choice Lula. Poor choice.
Had such a great experience! Went with two kids 4 adults and had great service. The food was to die for! They had GF options that were great! I recommend the breakfast pie!
This is a must go to place, super nice place, friendly, great variety of food, fresh, sit inside or outside and feed sparrows if you like, bring your dog if you like
A little pricey but, everything's fresh and staff is nice and helpful. I got super Blessed with a large bag of Swiss chard from their phenomenal garden . I have tried almost all of their great food.
This place is a local treasure - been hearing about it for years and finally made it in today. Delicious pie, great coffee, beautiful garden seating outside. Definitely worth a stop when you're here in Waco!
We found a favorite place in Waco and it’s eating at Lula Jane’s! We’d recommend this to everyone to visit and try. Our favorite hands down is the Veggie burger! The service, food, and atmosphere are all great! Thx Nancy for everything and we plan to return and introduce your place to our daughter and grandson! ??????

Stopped in this amazing little restaurant this morning while in Waco visiting family. The food was spot-on delicious! Even better was the friendly service! I called ahead to see if they used cooking spray and was thrilled to learn that they don't use it in most of their items. My 8 year old was even more thrilled with she ordered hot cocoa and the owner made her whipped cream from scratch when she learned she couldn't have whipped cream from the can due to the propellant in it. This kindness made me cry. If you're looking fo a local favorite THIS IS IT! We will visit again!
Loved the Tomato Pie! It was a first for me but not the last ?
Great food, reasonable price, friendly people!
Best blueberry pie I’ve ever had!
The food is ALWAYS excellent, Lula Janes never disappoints! Staff is ALWAYS top notch, place is always clean & orderly. There's a wide variety on the menu for 'breakfast/brunch' and the lunch menue changes daily (which is to be expected when it consists of locally grown / farm 2 table foods. I can't say enough - their fresh baked dessert choices always prove to put me into a quandry...'what to pick today?' as they all look/smell HEAVENLY & there are SO MANY of them. I can't say enough about this place just give it a shot & you'll most certainly return !
