Maria Mezcaleria is a great spot for delicious drinks and food. The atmosphere and location are prime, perfect for enjoying a mezcalita on a nice spring day. The sopes app is filling, and the enchiladas are delicious. The three tacos and quesadillas are tasty, and the spicy beans are a must-try. The place has a cool look, and the food was great. The Taquitos Dorados and the Cohinita Pibil Plate were quickly eaten; they were so good. The Taquitos were very crispy but not overcooked, and the Cochinita was tender and moist, with pickled purple onions and habanero adding nice flavor. The chips, salsa, and bean salsa were also on point. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure everyone is taken care of. The mezcal options they offer are top-notch, with a very large spirit selection. Many guests appreciated the well-done, elevated Mexican menu with popular offerings, and the cocktails, like the El Viejo Old Fashioned, are excellent. Visitors especially enjoyed the tender pork dish, which was well seasoned, and the chips were not greasy like at other places, with delicious salsa. Overall, this restaurant is a favorite for a fun, delicious evening out.
