We are not from the area, and ended up here for dinner. This was one of THE BEST places that I have ever eaten in my life! Our server, Oscar, was AMAZING! I highly recommend this place!
My wife and I just ate (ended up not eating I should say) there this afternoon. Have been several times and have always enjoyed the food. I guess today was s bad kitchen day. We ordered the beef fajita nachos to share as they are normally very good. The nachos arrived and we could immediately see that someone in the kitchen must have used a blow torch on them. The meat looked like it was leftovers from Christmas, and the chips they were on were stale, and very charred ( thus the blow torch analogy). We are not people who complain about our food because if you do, bad things or foreign items could make their way into your dish if you know what I mean. Plus, it was Happy Hour and they were half price, so we just paid the tab and still tipped because it wasn’t the fault of the waitress, and went on our way. I say all that to say that all of our other visits there were great. My advice…… order the nachos minus the blow torch if you are in the mood for nachos. Ours today were abhorrent

Service was pretty bad. Long times for server to return. No inquiries to refill drinks. Guacamole was brought out with no chips. Waitress didn't look like she cared.

First time eating at Maria's and it did not disappoint. Wife had the chicken enchiladas and I had the Birria and carnita tacos. Enchiladas were very good so we're the tacos, best thing about them was the homemade corn tortillas. Chips and salsa were very good too. The bean dip that came with the chips and salsa was a pleasant surprise, reminded me of frijoles from Mexico. Staff was nice and attentive. Will definitely be going back again.

Incredible authentic and delicious Mexican food. I strongly recommend the appetizer 'esquites' for anyone and everyone. The appetizer 'steak aguachile' I recommend the the adventurous into spice and bold flavor. They are both delicious!
The mezcal drink 'El Viejo' is heaven in a glass!
Ignore what others tell you, this is the best Mexican food in town

The location works perfectly around sunset with 75 degrees and a little wind. Their patio has an excellent atmosphere. Highly recommend. Great service.

I wish I had taken pics of our plates, but without a doubt Maria Mescalero is fantastic. I had the Cochinata Pibil and my wife had the Esquites. Both were plated perfectly and tasted delicious.
Truly authentic Mexican food paired with a very smooth Maria’s Margarita.
