Mi Casita Mexican Food Restaurant

I love trying burritos at any local taquerias. Mi Casita by far has the best ones compared to the others in Hewitt. The atmosphere is also fun and lots of positive energy.

Perfect customer service! Lady in the drive through is always wonderfully friendly and professional. The food is also cery good. This place is a rare gem these days!

So my Latina friend said that they always give chips and salsa so when she asked the waitress said "well you have to spend $25 to get the chips and salsa". I did not understand that statement; because I spent $42 alone. Then the waitress started to speak in Spanish to my Latina friend when it was like 5 of us that was not of Spanish speaking descent in attendance as well. Bottom line is we did not get the chips and salsa; when my Latina friend said that they just give it to her every time she comes to this restaurant.

This place use to be better but seems very inconsistent now . The coffee was old, the pancakes were undercooked. The bacon seemed like it was sitting there all morning . They also want to charge 2.00 for a kids water.

Best Tex Mex we had on our drive from Brownsville to San Antonio to Austin to Dallas and we ate at many taqueria to include Torchys and Laredo Taco. Loved the shrimp tacos at Mi Casita and their tres leches was superb! Our waiter was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we are going to stop in Waco again for round two at Mi Casita as the food was so flavorful
