Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

It was just okay, my wings were good, my wifes wings didn't have enough sauce and could've been crispier. They forgot her order of fries too

They were out of 2 of the three regular crust options, they did have a gluten free crust, but it was flavorless and they were very light on the cheese.

Took 8 minutes to get seated. We were the only ones at the waiting “area”, nobody was at the hostess table. Took 5 minutes to get our drinks, dr.pepper and sweet tea, 0/10. Food came out shortly. Food was 0/10, ZERO flavor, cold, and literally tasted like a dollar store pre-cooked meal. My pasta was stuck together, and my partner’s food tasted like it was 2 days old. Service was terrible, the waitress was rude, and never checked up on us for drinks until we paid. Never again. Don’t recommend!

First and foremost......THIS LOCATION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHICAGO. PERIOD
Saw the name while driving down I-35 through Waco, WOW......we gonna have some good pizza. (Born and raised IN THE CITY) Ugh....super disappointed.
I don't care if they are handing out gold coins to everyone. CHANGE YOUR NAME OF THE RESTAURANT!

We waited almost an hour for our food. It was so severely understaffed, I felt bad for our waitress. They definitely need more people in the kitchen and on the floor. I saw a table walk out. Food was okay, but for that wait? No.

We love the double deckaroni pizza. The deckaroni pizza we got today was not very good. Very little sauce and the dough was not as good as it usually is. We specifically asked our server to make sure the pizza had extra sauce. We also ordered Italian Nachos as our appetizer. It came to the table at the same time as our pizza. The Italian Nachos were terrible. Hardly any cheese and the chips were overdone. The manager did look at the pizza and the Nachos and he removed the Nachos from our bill. This is the second time we have had this same problem at this same restaurant. I doubt we will return.

Tha pizza tasted like something you'd get at a grocery store. Half their taps were out. Way way way over priced. I'll probably go to peter pipers next time I'm wanting pizza.

Parking: Oh. There were plenty of tvs. Tha place is nice and clean. I was just expecting way more on Tha food.

The waitress didn't write down our order causing it to be incorrect. The menu wasn't explained well. The manager was rude and didn't help the situation at all. Won't be returning.

She sat in the corner with a coworker on thier phones. Finally got up after 20mins to check on our food and had the nerve to bring our cold appetizer out with our pizza and said they came out at the same time.

Horrible, just plain bad! Should of known when the parking lot was empty. Over cooked crust, raw topping. Prices were stupid high. Service was bad at best. Not recommended at all. What a waist. We were excited to try but left so dissatisfied! We should of tried poppas! Don't eat here! Sheesh!

The bartender just looked at me and made me wait to order a beer, mind you there was nobody there.

Front of house completely empty.

Absolutely worst service and quality of food. First and last time to eat here. Expressed service issues with management and did not seem phased at all. Son ordered chicken wings that had NO sauce, like they forgot completely. Sent back and they literally retossed the cold wings. Wife's order was completely wrong and could not get a refill on drinks. Horrible service

My order wasn’t ready for 15 minutes after the time given. I made a comment about how small the soup was for the price, $7.99. The lady there said I would, if I didn’t work here.
I got home to find the burger was well done. The tall order of boneless wings had 9 small wings that did not appear fresh, looked day old. The soup for $7.99 measured out to half a cup. When I called the manager, he dismissed my concerns and stated that they were served to corporate specs. I will not be back.

My grandpas pizzas was darker then him... It was so burnt when the brought it out it was smoking and smelt the place up and still had the audacity to ask him if he still wanted it..
