On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

I've had better Mexican food.

My server was friendly, attentive and always filled my drinks up right as they were empty. Our food came out steaming hot and fresh. Every time I've been here, the staff go above and beyond. One time, several years ago, I spilled my drink all over myself by accident, they replaced my food, and my cup. The server had a sense of humor and gave me a takeaway cup with the lid taped down. I thought that was hilarious and well worth the cash tip I gave on top of the card gratuity. I've not tried the bar drinks yet as I'm usually the driver, but I look forward to it sometime.

We want to like this place, but limited staffing means waiting for a table when 20 sit empty. Our food today was only warm, not hot.

My wife and I haven't been there in years. The staff was extremely pleasant and on game. They were minutes away from the graduation rush, but that didn't sway them as they were readying for what was coming.

On the Border has a shady new name for online ordering called Taco Riot. The delivery sucked. The food was incorrect and cold and crappy. I will never order online again from On the Border or the shady TacoRiot sub name that on the border is using.

I order and honey chipotle shrimp tacos for someone that honey chipotle almost everywhere i go it burned my mouth and made me throw granted that our waiter Chance did fix it it did take a while for the order to come out it wasn’t that busy inside.

Food was good, the server was in training and did a great job. Zero complaints from us

Our recent visit had some positives, but overall it was underwhelming. Our server was very kind and polite, and while it seemed he was still learning, he did his best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, service was slow and disorganized, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Several mistakes were made with our orders and separate checks.

The food quality was inconsistent. Some dishes, like the brisket quesadilla, had very little meat, and the replacement wasn’t much better. The fish tacos were removed from the bill after we expressed our concerns, which we appreciated. Despite the friendly service, the overall experience didn’t match the price point—we spent nearly $200 and left disappointed.

We hope to see improvements in training and food consistency, as the staff clearly cares and wants to do well.

Very bad food rice was still hard, bean tasted burnt and the server did not listen told her I wanted chicken fajita and she gave me shredded chicken and said it was chicken fajita

Usually customer service is OK but today 4/18/2025, the toung lady who provided service was not welcoming or friendly. The food is usually pretty good but, this establishment certainly needs to counsel their workers on how to provide exceptional customer service because her attitude made me nt want to return despite hw decent the food is..

Food sucks, do yourself a favor and just visit the local taco stand

The food was excellent and our server was a doll. We'll be back!

To me, the portions were small. The enchiladas reminded me of a tv dinner. The waitress was top notch.

This use to be one of the best, now the service is slow and the food isn't very good anymore
