This is the best little hole in the wall BBQ place I've ever been. Everything from the pulled pork, to the smoked mac and cheese , to the die-for sweet potato casserole was tender and seasoned perfectly. The staff is the friendlist and so welcoming. You feel like you are sitting down to a meal in their dining room and the food is perfection. You should not miss out on this place!

Mama and Papa Jack were amazing! I had met miss Kim through always seeing her at my job so I stopped by to see her restaurant and man was it something. Now I am no barbecue fan by far, I got the nachos the night I came and boy did that make me rethink my no-barbecue-for-life statement. There was so much to eat and the prices were great. Their service was of course excellent. I have never felt so at home in a restaurant before, much less a place that wasn’t my own. These people really are the true meaning of community.

Stopped in for some bbq after a long drive up from Houston. Had ribs and sausage with sweet potato mash and smoky mac and cheese. Everything was bursting with flavor and I'm sure I was smiling like a kid as I enjoyed it. As mentioned in another review the ambiance is like being invited to a friend's house - one that you want to visit again and again. Very kind people and they engage with their customers very well. Mrs. Kim sent me home with a treat for my wife (bread pudding) which was devoured upon arrival!
To-go orders were flying out the door throughout my stay. Clearly the community enjoys Papa Jack's bbq.
Still thinking about that smoky mac & cheese...I'll be back!

Friends brought us here because we were looking for good Texas BBQ. Did not disappoint! Mama and Papa Jack are so sweet 💕 He shared a sample of sausage and she brought out cheesy grits. Had the brisket, cabbage, mac & cheese and sweet potato casserole. Everything was AMAZING! Thank you for the great visit!

ATTENTION! I have Never experienced a better tasting BBQ in my 47 years on Earth. The absolute juiciest, moist, and most flavorful brisket that I never knew to exist. I also had chicken, Smoked Mac n Cheese & cabbage. Took me :30 minutes to drive Hereford’s lunch & now knowing how amazing the food is…. I’d drive 3 hours for it. Friendly family owned & operated! All Very Good people!
To be honest I was worried the reviews were too good to be true. When we arrived there were few cars outside and we were thinking about leaving. But when we entered we were greeted with amazing service. Then when we recieved the food we knew we made the right choice. WHAT DO THEY PUT IN THOSE SWEET POTATOES, WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD?!! The place is a must do, no regrets.

Please come check out Miss Kim @ Papa Jack’s. She’s a truly gifted BBQ chef with a sincere, sweet and welcoming personality. Guys… honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I ordered the three-meat plate (ribs, brisket, and links) along with smoked cabbage and beans. The ribs fell off the bone !!!
The smoked cabbage was my first time trying it, and wow… that’s a memory I’ll carry with me for a long time (or until the Lord calls me home), I will get it the next time I visit, which will be soon. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and try the sweet potato bread and the cornbread. You will not be disappointed, great flavor and generous portions will be in place.
