Excellent pastas, fun menu
We got there late so maybe that had an impact on service and bad lettuce…idk
But the pasta was fabulous

I sat at a high top in the bar. Very pleasant atmosphere. I started off with the beet & buratta salad. Now I like to cut open my burrata myself and spread it's ooie goodness all around but someone swiped half in the kitchen. Overall super creamy, well seasoned plate. Main course was the scallop gorgonzola I asked for it over pappardella. Rich and creamy flavor bright sundried tomatoes and a wee bit of spinach.

Upscale, really good food with friendly people. Easy to park or walk to from the Courtyard Marriott hotel or Waco convention center. Fantastic liquor/wine store in same building with knowledgeable staff. Try the limoncello cake, I ate that too fast for a pic.😆

We enjoyed a nice birthday dinner, staff saved us a quiet table in the corner, and complimentary dessert. Variety wine selection for all tastes.

First time visit on a Saturday night. Reservations for a group, birthday gathering. They have a policy not to seat group before everyone in party arrives.(found out after I arrived early) Ok good policy if the wait line is out the door.which it was not on Saturday November 15th at 5:30-8pm. I was planning on ordering appetizers for table and a drink at the table before rest of the party arrived for dinner. I was given the option to sit at the bar. Sat at bar but did not order anything. Just disappointed that an exception could not be made for this very strict rule they have. The party was a surprise dinner for the birthday girl. Two other disappointments was we found out they only had 10 straws left when asked for straws for drinks. Then for dessert they were out of Tiramisu which the birthday girl was looking forward to, and they have a policy no outside birthday cakes or cupcakes can be brought in. Ok fine but at least don’t be out of desserts on a Saturday night . Petty complaints I know but just felt they aren’t customer friendly. It is loud not full to capacity on this night so noise level wasn’t as loud as it could be I am sure.

We stopped in Pignetti's without reservations. There was a short wait for a table of two. Our server was on spot with timing, making recommendations, and pleasantries. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great for a night out.

Always a fan fave. Wine list has improved drastically. Still great prices. Had a 2020 Judge Bell Turley zin for 89 bucks (that's a steal) and a Sanjiacomo vineyard Barnette chardonnay for like 75 bones. Good juice. Sat at the bar for lunch and balled for like 300 clams including tip. Chefs made me a filet which wasn't available but I needed steak and they were gracious enough to hit the g spot. Mercedes was a queen and took great care of me while also seating the door. 10/10 I always go here to have my favorite bought of anxiety from spending too much on dinner. Idk how I make rent tbh. Here's to Pignetti. Whoever that dude is. Great pasta bro.
