A friend and Iate at Papa Rollo's #2 yesterday afternoon about 1:45 p.m. and even though the restaurant was relatively empty, the server wanted to seat us a small table, but we sat in a booth. The first thing she said was, "You want the buffet, right?" We ordered our lunches and 35 minutes later, no food. We noticed the serve spending quite a bit of time with another couple, just visiting. we finally got her attention and asked about our order. She went to check on it and the cook said he never got the order. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. We both asked for "to go" boxes and when the server brought us Styrofoam boxes she said management wouldn't let them give out pizza boxes. Seriously??? The manager said she'd discount our food by 50% due to their error. My lunch special was $8,79, plus my drink. When I paid my bill it was $11.63. Later it dawned on me I could not have received the 50% discount I was promised. I looked at my receipt and I received a partial discount on my meal. It was $8.79 and I received a $4.29 discount, BUT WAS CHARGED $3.99 for a dinner salad that was supposed to be part of the lunch special. When it was all said and done, I got an 11 cent discount for waiting 45 minutes for my food and being ignored with the server. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Service was slow. Went in and ordered a small cheese and mushroom pizza and some wings. Must’ve been 45 minutes later our food finally came out. Pizza was chewy and barely warm. No carbonation in the Coke, the waitress traded it out for Dr Pepper, but it was the same. Wings were all right, definitely not anything to write home about. We have been here once before, and the pizza was OK but this time definitely not good.

Went in to eat at their buffet. We had 1 slice of pizza and a small Salad because they had nothing else ready. We waited for 30-45 mins and thet finally said they could put a request in for a pizza. Come on.... It cost me $72 for 5 people "eat" And now we are going somewhere else to really eat.

We went for lunch and upon entering, we were not acknowledged after two employees saw us. We were ignored! Very sad because we are new to Waco and heard great things about Poppa Rollo's. We will not be returning. We will just head across the street to Shorty's Shack.

My family has been getting gluten-free pizza here for a few years. The cost is around $20, but until now the size was ok. While the price has stayed the same, the pizza has shrunk to 1/2 the size it was.The quality isn't great, but GF crust is hard to perfect, however we can buy the same quality at Wal-Mart for much less with this one. Bummer.We've dined in once, weren't thrilled with the service or atmosphere, but I really feel that speaks more of the owners than the staff. I think the staff does try to be accommodating but it's just a depressing place.

This is my favorite pizza restaurant because of the cauliflower crust pizza. It is unbelievably delicious and a great choice for people who need gluten-free options. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Even the patrons are welcoming.
