We ran into a video from Mr.chimetime and decided to drive an hour just to try these pupusas! He wasn’t lying they hit the spot & were worth the drive. There is so many options to choose from & even giant and colorful ones. This is different and we’re here for it! Ms.Deisy the owner is also the sweetest soul & you can tell she loves what she does. ♥️

I could not taste the flavorings. I ordered a super one with Beef and Chicken, another with Pork, and another with Shrimp. I could taste no seasoning, not too much meat, and no flavor at all. It is basically like eating dough with some small amount of meat thrown in. You need to have a taste for something like this, and if you are not from El Salvador, you are probably not used to food tasting this bland and not filled. For the price she should have put in more meat and made the bite worth the purchase. Instead it was not, and was a disappointment. The owner was much nicer than the food.

Got the $15 super pupusa, and boy did it not disappoint!!! It was delicious, had excellent flavor, and it wes big!! Filled up a standard plate to-go box. If you need bigger than that, they got what you need!! Hole in the wall with excellent flavors. You may have to wait a little bit because there is only 1 person working, but I promise it will be worth it!! I saw them on Facebook months back, and just happened to remember before I left Waco to return to Houston...
The best pupusas in town
Best pupusas in central Texas, I have found. It hidden in little neighborhood, but I’ve learned from spending a lot of time in El Salvador that those are often the best places to eat! Prices are good. They have both pupusas con arroz and masa. A rare find in this area. They also have Honduran and Mexican food. Woman was Salvadorean. Prices are reasonable. Big menu and they accept card and Venmo in addition to cash. Staff was super nice! A must try!

Mr.Chimetime a NC Foodie on Instagram recommended this location. My husband and I drove 1 hour and 10 mins to get here and it was worth the trip. I can't wait to go back. My husband and I got the pupusa and sopes to go. I tried the green one. I tell my husband all the time that all food ain't to go food, but this food here was to go food. Thank you so much for the great food experience and we will be returning. Thank you too Mr. Chimetime for the referral, because it was all that you said it was. The young lady that works here is a one woman show and she got this.

Hands down best pupusas I’ve had! 🙌 drove down from Dallas to try this place! Food was fresh and well seasoned. The owner was working by herself and was waitressing and cooking!!! And still gave amazing service!! Will definitely come back!!

I went today after I wanted to go months ago. I ordered 3 regular size pupusas revueltas and 1 Loroco con queso, and everything was delicious! The flavor, ingredients, size, and prices were wonderful! The owner is so nice and always smiling! I will definitely come back to try more!

A very nice, humble lady that works very hard at what she loves to do. A blessing to so many! Be sure to try this place out. It might appear to be small in size, but don't let that fool you! The portions are large and more than likely you will leave full & ready for a nap. ?
