The food overall was fresh and tasted pretty good. Surf and turf burrito was quite the mix of ingredients but it worked well. Portions were fair for the price. Only disappointment was the red sauce, I'd probably give that a 3/10 way too much tomato flavor not enough chile cilantro etc. Verde sauce was pretty good though, easy 7.5 or 8/10. I'd smother a lot of stuff in that green sauce.

There's enough variety that you may want to experiment with the menu until you find a favorite dish. I would happily order here again, but I'm not going out of my way just to get some if that makes sense. I'll give it a solid 7/10 with room to grow, which is quite good for a new place.

I was so excited to hear about this location opening. It was definitely worth the hour and a half drive. I will definitely be back. As always they did not disappoint. Amazing food and service. Very clean and everyone was amazing so friendly!! Christmas came early for me lol .

This is one of the best tacos in all of Texas. We traveled over an hour away to go and get Reberto’s carne asada tacos and fries. Simply Awesome!

You can never go wrong with Roberto’s. I’ve been a Roberto’s fan for years, enjoying them in both Ca and NV. So glad they are now in TX, and it is only a two hour drive for amazing food’

Best surf and turf Burrito. We also had the California Burrito and Carne Asada Burrito and 5 rolled tacos . The tortillas was the best I've had in Texas !!

Food was disappointing, got the Rolled Taco’s very dry and lacked flavor. My wife got the crispy chicken Taco was not worth the $4.00 each. Rice was in a tiny cup that was the equivalent of a shot glass worth of rice.

Definitely some better spots around town for a better price.

We are San Diego transplants, so we love having Roberto's so close. We drive up from Temple! Same delicious food as home. Bean n cheese burritos are our fave!

I love Roberto's from California and the Texas location did not disappoint. Carne asada burrito and rolled tacos are the BOMB! Can't wait for them to open in Temple! I would go every day if I could. My favorite!

I'm really disappointed, because I wanted this to be a 5-star review. We were greeted at the drive-thru window by a really nice young lady. She was extremely kind and helpful, and guided us through the menu since it was our first time. I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito and the surf and turf fries. Service was quick, and it was honestly the best drive through experience I've ever had. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, after returning home, the fries were cold. My burrito was piping hot and fresh, and tasted amazing. However, the other dish really soured our entire experience. I don't know if we were served old food, and thats why it was cold, or what, but it's disappointing nonetheless. We try to support local businesses anytime we eat out, but after this experience Im not sure that we'll be back.

I’m typically VERY particular and discriminate re: reviews. This said, I was super-impressed with my experience at Roberto’s. The wait staff was great. I’ve had steak quesadilla’s at hundreds of places, but this one was absolutely the BEST one I’ve ever had. It was packed with lean steak, loaded with cheese, salsa and sour cream, wrapped in an amazingly sturdy, thin (not thick, bready) tortilla that was very tasty and toasted.
Their red and green salsas were both very good.
I will definitely be back. Great job!
