This is a good, old-fashioned diner. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is exactly what you should expect from a small town diner. I had great, albeit simple, breakfast that was perfectly cooked. I couldn't ask for anything more. My coffee stayed hot and full. My food was exactly the way I like it.

Rocket Cafè is truly a hidden gem. Best diner in Waco. We just moved to Robinson and stumbled across this cafe. It is an old school diner. It’s been there since 1961. Great service; our server was amazing; super cool and down-to-earth country style. I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with brown gravy and green beans; the food was dynamite. Chicken fried chicken was tender, the breading was thin and flavorful. The mashed potatoes tasted like my mom’s and the brown gravy was tasty. The green beans were tender but not soft; full of flavor. My wife had the strawberry chicken salad and she loved it. I can’t say enough about this gem but I highly recommend it. We will be back at least twice a week.
