Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Our company has ordered large orders multiple times from the Waco location and it’s always been good. Today however, was an awful experience. I called an order in for eight chopped sandwiches, chips, and drinks. Not a complicated order. They told me it would be twenty minutes. I got there thirty minutes later to pick up my food and my order still wasn’t ready. I went inside to pay for it and was thinking that maybe they were super busy. There were only five people sitting down eating, no one in line, and a ton of employees standing around behind the counter where you get your food. I asked for the manager and complained and all he said to me was I’m sorry I’ll talk to them and see what happened. After I finally got my food I get it to my car only to find that the meat was not even hot. I’ll never order from here again.

We've been here several times, and normally, we love BBQ, but today's lackluster/rude customer service from the girl who took our order made for an unpleasant experience, to say the least.. not to mention the super dry brisket/chicken was pretty hard to swallow.. therefore, we've decided it's just not worth coming back to this place anymore.

This is an awesome place to get fantastic bbq, got the sliced beef, service was lightening fast and the food was delicious. Great price and really cool place!

Very good moist brisket, kids love it
Most parts are being very moist
It did not have any fatty oil piece in it, they clean the fatty part.
the staff there was incredibly friendly and helpful.
It’s one of the best BBQ in our favorite list

I had never been here so I ordered small. I went back through the line and ordered more, this place is great, great taste, great service, great atmosphere. I highly recommend eating here, the pulled pork is awsome.

Food is delicious here and hot and fresh. First time trying the jalepeno sausage and I had to go back the next day for more. Everybody is so friendly here and the food is great!

Well, I'm not sure if people in these parts even know how Texas BBQ is supposed to be like according to all these multi-star reviews. I keep it real. Rudy's in this location is a fail army. It smells great when ya walk in but, the meat is just too darn dry. $75 bucks down the drain. We had lean brisket that was so dry any more time in the smoker it would be jerky. The turkey was also dry and overcooked. Even the sausage was dry. How can ya mess up smoked sausage...? I'm not the complaining type. I just need to voice my comment so that maybe this location can live up to the Rudy's commited reputation for having class A Texas BBQ. Staff was cool and the place clean.

Other than the stew, everything was luke warm, the sausage cool. Ate my stew and heated everything up in the truck. Temp was below holding didn't think about it until eating hot food in the truck.
