Great little hidden gem. When my food arrived, I took my 1st bite and I thought my aunt was cooking in the kitchen. It was so authentic and homemade. The food did tale awhile to come out, but now I understand why. It was homemade and from scratch. I will make it a point to eat there everytime I'm in town.

The food was amazing and fresh ! The service was exceptional she was amazingly sweet and made sure to check in with us not once did we feel forgotten. Definitely will come back to visit. The Serrano was my favorite salsa!

.PRICE CHANGE IN MENU WITH OUT UPDATING MENU.As a contractor , in the city of Waco. Ive always chose ruffis, the food is very authentic to the Mexican style in taste , I’ve never had a problem with the food or the service they give … my only problem is that the prices change very often with out an update on the “ONLINE MENU”. The change in prices in food ranges from 2$ up to $6 dollars ,In items on top of old price per item , which make me feel like Stripes/7eleven hand made tortillas burritos are better “ruffis is getting expensive “ as if it’s a 9-11pm restaurant “IN MY OPINION AS A WACO RESIDENT “

You get a great meal with a lot of food at a great price. I am a big guy and could only eat half of my $8 burrito. It is not normal TexMex but really good. It is not fine dining so don't expect that. It is like being invited into their home and Rufi(na?) is back in the kitchen cooking.
