This was just an average restaurant. The appetizer was $19.00, but when we got the bill, it was $25.00. We got the jalapeño rattlers, and it was just heat with no taste. The salads were good. The steaks were good as well, but again, just mediocre. Our waiter did a great job. The atmosphere is that of a regular steak house.

Filet Oscar missed the mark by a mile. Hollandaise is normally served withe crab and asparagus. They serve it with green onions, a weird lemon butter with green onions. Ribeye was lacking in taste. Needed salt desperately to make that nice crust. Rattler bites were expensive and lacked taste and cheese. Waitstaff was nice. No bread. Loaded potato had the equivalent of a teaspoon of cheese in the potato. I'm not sure I've ever been to such a tasteless steakhouse. Alot of people said it's Texas best. If that is TX best, TX sucks at steaks. Nice building, sat promptly, everything was clean.

Ordered for pick up. Could not get anyone to meet me at the bar, as it was unattended for over 10 minutes and the place was empty. Employees just sitting around or goofing off in the kitchen. I ordered a rib eye and shrimp to go. Confirmed my order with the man who finally came out of the kitchen to the bar area. Was open to getting a drink while I waited for my order, but no one asked or attempted to serve me.When I got back to my hotel , I was even more disappointed. The steak was all fat. The shrimp add on was $13 for 3 shrimp. The cheese was added on my salad, even though I requested none due to dairy allergy. And, no utensils, napkins, or even a receipt.This place was simply incredibly lazy with horrible service, no attention to detail or quality, and overall a waste of money.

Really disappointed. Ate at Saltgrass in late 1990's and it was great. Tried Wacos site. Ordered Chicken fried steak with extra gravy and fries. Fries were good. They forgot my salad and mt extra gravy and my silver ware. No big deal went and got it off their wait station. First bite of steak all gristle. Second bite had the heavy blood taste of liver. Not the best experience. Frozen Margaritas lacked alcohol. Stayed frozen forever which is a sign there is only minimum alcohol there. Believe that Saltgrass is not the place it used to be.

Salt grass is always fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better prepared steak. My son got some chicken dish that he would not stop raving about. I did not get the garlic mashed potatoes this time and I miss them but sweet potato fries were delicious. It was a Friday night, about 6:30pm, no wait except line to get to hostess.

Came here to visit on a Wednesday night, first time at this location, let me tell you , let me tell you again this was absolutely amazing the customer service of the hostess and the server was amazing, love the environment the atmosphere the texan style… and the food omg have been blessed i order a New York steak medium well it was delicious and super juicy , plus the mac and cheese was fantastic, my server was Luke z he took care of me really well.
