If you're looking for a real down to earth, honest place. This is the place.Friendly staff, on time food (y'all know how rare this is for southern food), and the portion to price ratio is still pre 2020 levels.Amazing

Looked up seafood on Yelp and wanted local , not chain. This eatery is in old Waco and gets all the locals. It's not glam but very neat and clean. Roxanne recommended several items. Hubby loves fish and got catfish fillets and said they were hot, crispy and huge portions. I got a Shrimp PoBoy snd it had fat flavorable shrimp. Bun toasted just right. We will be back. Great service that is rare these days.

This place is great the fried or baked fish is good every time. The beans and rice are good as well it's a dollar more to get grilled fish instead of fried not sure why maybe to encourage people to get fried because it takes a little longer to grill but all the same turnout good food.

We recently went there after hearing good reviews from family, the fried fish was so good and hot, nice size portions and great prices. We dined inside and it was very clean and quite atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. Oh and the sauce is so good... we will be returning soon..

Great food! Great service! Laid back spot that makes you feel welcome. Combo plate with fish, shrimp, and crab cakes was delicious. You can get it fried or grilled. Mine was fried and was not greasy. Andrea is the best! Her service alone would make me want to come back.

Saw this place when we goggled good places to eat in Waco. Not fancy but great good! The large shrimp were wonderful. Catfish was hot. I felt prices were fare with amount of food you get. We will definitely eat here and recommend to our friends.

This place was nothing fancy, so if you’re looking for fancy, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for knock out delicious food, then head on here. Food was absolutely delicious generous portions price was honestly cheap for what we got. I would totally give the food a 10 out of 10 ??
