Didn’t get to make it in today for the last day. We planned to attend to celebrate our 6 year anniversary, but got into town too late😢, but we enjoyed the food and wished we had more time to enjoy Sascees. Surely enjoyed the catered event at my husband’s PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT in Hewitt recently. That fried chicken, them greens, and Mac and Cheese was bomb! And that banana pudding was so rich! 🫶🏾🫂
This is the first review I have ever written. It’s set up like a buffet but you are served the meat/s and vegetables of the day. Don’t expect to order what you want. You get whatever they decided is the option for the day. By the way, the collard greens were bland, the pintos were over seasoned, and the sweet tea came with lemon flavoring already added. I like the option to not add lemon. I really wish this would have been more positive and I had high hopes being a southerner....
No complaints whatsoever....food was seasoned well,large portions,cake baked from scratch and peach cobbler and pies to die for...they served our group from Austin quickly and courteously
