I ordered a fish plate with the fried green tomato appetizer. The food was hot and seasoned really well. It's the first time I've had fried green tomatoes that I enjoyed. Portions are large and the prices are good.

We were wanting fried chicken then Yelp lead us the way but upon entering the smell of the fried catfish is annoyingly (in a good way) messing up with our head. Haha. Ended up getting a basket of 3 catfish, 3 shrimp, and 3 oysters with fries and red beans and rice to share. This combo is good for 2 people already you can probably add another side, a la carte for more food but this is enough for us. Our order came out piping hot, fresh out of the fryer. No frills spot, upon entering you will be greeted by a nice lady to take your order and she will pleasantly wait for you to decide which one to get. Yes, it's chicken, and fried seafood but the combo is extensive. You can also asked for your basked to be grilled if you'd like for an extra. The place is what yours expect from a southern, catfish place. Open sitting and patrons hanging out just gossiping. They also have a drive thru window for the convenience of not having to get out of your car.

This food was gross. The fish was too hard and very salty. The shrimp breading was Orange like a flour based and not cornmeal or a mixture. Needless to say it was not worth my time.

it should be illegal to do this to seafood.I got a(#37) shrimp oyster plate, beans & rice with coleslaw. The beans and rice were nice, creamy, not too spicy, and good. The seafood was off, and that's being nice. the shrimp appeared to be pre-cooked, then battered and fried. the batter is a yellow mix of some sort that made the oysters & shrimp yellow . the coating was too thick so I had to peel it off to get to the food. Unfortunately I lost interests before I reached my fill..A long ways from Deanie's or Popadeaux's

The fish, chicken, coleslaw and shrimp were all very good. The fries were average. All were average or better and the portions were huge. I ordered 3 fish and 3 chicken thinking the portions would be like most restaurants, but I took 2 of each as leftovers.The batter was more like Cajun restaurants and a bit spicy.

This place serves a great fried Catfish! The Cole Slaw and Mac and Cheese were excellent as well. Prices were very reasonable and the four piece fried fish came with five pieces, and two Hushpuppies!
