The food is great. They have a great salad and wings. The pizza is very good along that they have weekly special and a good selection. The customer service is very good. Very friendly and helpful. The location is by the river and has great seating. Definitely would recommend Slow Rise for lunch or family night for dinner.

Great pizza, even tastes good cold. The service was excellent. My order was an online order to go. Everything I asked for was there and tasty. I highly recommend this place.

The service is fine, but I personally think the sauce makes this pizza not my thing- it's too sweet. Prices are also a little high in my opinion. I do like the variety of toppings available. New to the area and I'd probably go to Shortys over this place

The lady workers here at the front are seemingly rude and act very stuck up to anyone that seems like they are monot from here or dressed like everyone else in the building. Food is good but, DO NOT GO HERE if you aren't from Hewitt/Woodway and poop out 100 dollar bills. Having that stuck up personality is one thing but having it while serving customers is another.

Place is great for families and the pizzas were huge. Nice selection of craft beer to go along with a really good margherita pizza and a huge pretzel for an appetizer. Ambiance was cool but also felt slightly chain like. Service fine but was mainly a lot of younger kids so they weren't super attentive but not bad either.

New to the area and looking for a good go to pizza place. We ran across slow rise and decided to give it a try. We got half cheese and half pepperoni and green olives. For the price the pizza was a solid option as the large fed our family of 5, with some left over. Fresh from the restaurant I think this pizza is a bit doughy for my liking, but they did not skimp on the cheese and other toppings, and the sauce was good and had a strong Italian seasoning taste to it, which I wasn't too made about. What made this pizza great for me is that if you take it home and put it in the over at 425 for about ten minutes gave it the perfect crisp and didn't burn the toppings. The service was excellent and friendly and the location sets a good atmosphere for any social event, but is also great for grab and go.

Really greasy grease poured off every slice. Beer wasn't even really cold was barely room temperature

Great pizza. The cheese stick and marinara dipping sauce is my favorite. They have great fries. The fried ravioli is just ok. It's fairly fast service most of the time. Even though I think the staff could be dressed more appropriately it's a nice place!

While visiting family in Waco, Texas we met up at Slow Rise Slice House. The service was good. The pizza and boneless wings were good as well. The reason I gave four stars is because the delivery of the food to our table seemed disorganized, despite using the buzzing circular pagers for orders. They share a building with a local coffee shop and part of their seating is on that side. Next time we're in Waco we'll probably try them again but maybe not on a busy Friday night.

Food is decent, service is terrible and ran by high school kids. Orders come out one plate at a time. We waited 10 to 15 minutes between plates and we had 3 items. This makes eating with others very odd and difficult. Do you wait and eat cold food or be rude and eat before the others get theirs. There are better options, take the other options on pizza in Waco.

After tonight I'd really like to give it 1 star. I loved this place. It has a great patio and good pizza, a great place to take a whole family. Tonight we went in just to grab a few coffees and some funnel cake fries. While walking in we see lots of pets out on the patio. Totally fine with that, until we see customers putting dogs ON the tables. Not ok in my book. We decide we no longer are eating. We order our coffee to go and head to the restrooms while they make them. Women's restroom is closed and there is a line. Come to find out the men's stall is out of order and only one working stall in the women's. The place is packed so to have 1 urinal for all customers is disturbing and just grossed me out. Not sure if I care to go back or recommend a once favorite place anymore.

I come here whenever I'm in town for work as their food is tasty and fresh (salads are especially good), price is fair, decent tap of beers, and the service is always really good.

The pizza is fantastic! The crust is perfect! We thoroughly enjoy ordering our pizza to go and then taking advantage of the full bar as they have a great beer on tap selection. This is our go-to pizza place in Waco now.
