Well. I didn't know that my food I ordered was going to be something as tough for the smothered pork chops. Ummm, as far as the rib ends most of them where not seasoned and hard. Basically I did not have a good dinner as I thought I was. I had to pick over it. The mashed potatoes I only tasted them. O and, I did leave a tip. But to still be hungry after having to throw most of it away. I can't do it again. The cabbage mix greens had had a good seasoning some what but, just overcooked. Customer Service was okay it's just all the above what I stated at first.

The Mac n cheese was very dry, they don't hv the prices where you can see them especially with a large group some plates had 2 pork chops and the other had one husband n wife they paid same price for the pork chop meal.

I went today in light of Black History Month. Not being around the area and wanting some GOOODDD FOOD!! Baby they didn’t disappoint!! Catfish was fried hard, fresh and well seasoned. The baked Mac and cheese had these smoked cheese taste!! It’s truly is amazing and definitely will be returning!!This is definitely a family owned joint and they live up to just that!!

I got the short ribs with cabbage mix with greens. Chilli beans with cornbread and Kool aid. The short ribs was just fried bones. The chili beans had no meat and seem just to be ranch style beans with chili flavoring added. The cabbage mix with greens was bland no taste. The Kool aid was sugar water. I spent $19.97 and wasted my money. I went ate at Wendy's afterwards because I left 60% on the table. I was really upset about the short ribs that was just bones dipped in batter. I'm not going back never, try at your own risk. That is not soul food!!!!

I can't believe they have been I business so long the worst food I've ever had from any restaurant. I ordered chicken spaghetti took 2 bites and I couldn't force myself to take a 3rd. My sides were chili beans and cabbage greens. The chili beans tasted like ranch style beans with alit of chili powder and no meat. The kool-aid was red but I couldn't tell what flavor it was because it tasted like sugar water. After reading previous reviews most people feel the same way I do. Places like this make it hard to support small businesses. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MOST OF ALL YOUR MONEY. I LEFT 95% OF THE MEAL ON THE TABLE.

I would probably go back for the greens but everything else was very bland. The oxtails were slimy and bland, and the fried chicken had no flavor. Hot sauce is not seasoning but it was the only way to get it down but made it kinda too salty like they season with salt. The tables were dirty and the floors. Made me scared the kitchen wasn’t cleaned either.
