Usually a great place to go. Today it was pretty bad. They really need to clean up all the cobwebs outside around the place. Clean the fans outside. Scrub the outside trashcan. They were particularly nasty. I can see why the place has constant changes in owners/managers. Take care of it a bit better and maybe business will be better. Not sure if I'll return this year.

We visited the Slippery Minnow while camping nearby. They had live music in a Saturday night. I had fried catfish with fries and hush puppies. My wife had a cheeseburger with fries. The music was very good and sitting on the top deck, watching the boats come in after dark was a lot of fun. The restaurant is very rustic with picnic tables and other seating with plastic chairs. My wife did not like the many spiders on the railing. The food was good but not distinctive. The venue being on the water and eating at a floating restaurant is the best part of the experience, but we did have a very nice time.

Great lite place to eat & relax right on Lake Waco. You can either drive there or pull up and dock your boat. The view was great, the food was good & fresh of the grill. I took 1 star away bc they have a very small menu, few options to choose from, but overall it was great would highly recommend if you're ever on the lake for the day or near the area.
