The food was average but the service was particularly slow the day we went. The ambiance of the patio was nice. Mimosas made the long wait for food/service tolerable. I also like how chips and queso was a possible side for all meals.

Food was decent. I won't go back though. It's not a very clean environment in terms of reduced disease spreading. The cooks had their masks on their chins which not only means that they're breathing covid all over your food, but they're probably touching they're masks simultaneously while cooking and touching food. Our waitress was friendly but constantly touching her mask and everything else: dirty dishes, clean dishes, cash register, going in and out of the kitchen and not once used one of the hand sanitizers on the walls. Thankfully they weren't too busy so I could monitor the cross contamination.

We got seated right away and then waited 20 min. without a server stopping at our table. Even after complaining to the hostess it was at least 5 min. more before the server came over. In the meantime, another table of one who cam in after us had been seated, received a drink and placed his order. We asked to speak to the manager who apologized, but did nothing more. When they brought us our food 3 of the 4 meals had errors and the food itself was extremely mediocre. It's been a long, long time since we've had such a poor experience at a restaurant.

I love this place. Service treated us so kindly. Prices were average for the menu. Ambience reminds me of San Diego's scene.

The service was good and the food was great. We had brunch on the patio. It is in the heart of downtown Waco and had a nice view of Austin Avenue.

So the food here was great. Not just good, but great. Their chicken fried steak was delicious, as were their biscuits and French toast. However, the service here was very poor. Our server completely forgot about us and we had to flag down bussers to get anything. After waiting at least 15 minutes for the check, we were finally able to flag someone down. Then, after no one came to pick up the check, we had to go up and go to the bar to get cashed out. We were there during brunch and it wasn't packed. Overall, the quality of the food couldn't make up for the level of poor service.

The staff seemed legitimately happy to have us. We had omelettes with toast, fruit and fried potatoes . Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly and we didn't wait long for anything on a Saturday around 11. The waitress did forget to bring our check for a while but we were seated outside and just popped in to pay quicker bc we had another reservation following our meal. Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back and try the French toast...or pancakes.

You have to try the fried cheese curds. They are out of this world tasty. Also, the Raleigh is one of the few places you can get a nice drink during the pandemic. Lots of social distancing. Finally, the theatre is very nice. Remember they have the old historic part, where the sound is funky, and the new modern theatres with Barca-loungers. You can order food from any of them.

Poor service and attention to details. Multiple tables were seated after us and received their food before us. Multiple safety hazards including no masks on waiters and dirty menus being passed to multiple tables. Outside tripping hazards were left in the walkway (garden hose) and employees just walked over it. A customer actually moved the hose for them. The use of dirty rags to clean the tables was unacceptable.

We recently visited the Raleigh for Brunch and had the most amazing time. The entire waitstaff was phenomenal. Each member of the party ordered a different menu item and we each absolutely loved it. My father couldn't stop raving about the salsa and I adored the 10$ mimosa carafes and chorizo. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the roomy patio downtown. If you happen to stop in Waco, Raleigh is a definite must visit!

Went for lunch. It has inside & outside seating and also bar area. Had a BLT with fries and it was very good. Prices are fair. It is in downtown Waco.

I ate the lunch special - It was a huge portion. Lunch special was affordable $10 which included drink and dessert. Regular menu has lots of choices. Everybody can find something to eat here. This restaurant has a pet friendly patio.

The service was slow but we loved the themed diner feel. It was difficult to find a sandwich downtown that was open on a Saturday afternoon that was not a pub.
