Lots of options but settled on this place. I was not disappointed. They were really busy but the young lady taking orders was a gem. We ordered the giant slices, meatballs and the ginger brew. Everything was delicious. The hot honey was my favorite. If you like a little spice pared with a bit of sweetness this is for you. The flying pig was my cousins choice. I liked it but pulled the pineapple off. The meatballs are ample and very tasty. The ginger brew has a hint of spice and is amazing. We ate there and it was a nice little atmosphere. My rating of 4 is due to the food pickup process. They take your number but it's not to page or call. It's placed on the tray. I had a lady pick up some of my order because she ordered the same slice of pizza. I pointed at my phone number and she was trying to tell me she ordered hot honey. I wish they would just use an order number. Also I ordered the 4 meatballs but was initially given 3. They corrected it and handed me 4 hot meatballs. I get it. They were busy. It's logistics and can be easily tweaked. But definitely the difference in a 3-4 or 5 rating. However it would not deter me from returning for more hot honey if I were in town.

Ordered from 3 other places that were all ready before a single pizza slice. Friend ordered meatballs that were so bad they were thrown away.

We ordered a margarita and a hot honey pizza slice and two bottled water. For the grand total of 18 dollars, the food was trash. The dough was chewy and undercooked with both slices, and it wasn't fresh. After ordering we saw a "cook" behind the counter grab slices of pizza that have been sitting out under no heat lamp and throw them in a convection oven.Oh and they forgot the basil on the margarita pizza. And before anyone wonders why I didn't say anything, it's because one of the "cooks" handling food would reach into his ears to remove his earbuds between reheating pizzas and walking around touching random surfaces without hand washing or gloves. The dining room was clean at least, and maybe this passes as 5star pizza in Waco but truly this food is gross.

Disclaimer for new visitors to Waco: I strongly suggest checking Google reviews before Yelp, as most locals tend to post their opinions there. Despite my initial skepticism, I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to try the gelato at this pizza parlor. While most reviews were focused on the pizza, my strawberry cheesecake gelato turned out to be a delightful surprise. I regret not having the stomach to sample other flavors, but I plan to return for a more comprehensive review. Overall, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, which is just the way I prefer it!
