For a venue that’s supposed to be focused on fun and hospitality, I had a truly disappointing experience at Top Golf in Waco today. I went in with high expectations for my son’s 15th Birthday, but the management was shockingly unaccommodating. The issue arose when we requested to add an additional bay next to our already 3 Bay Party reservation especially since there were plenty of open bays with no wait. When I tried to address my concerns with the General manager, Hugo, the experience only got worse.
He claimed the bay we wanted was reserved for 4 PM. However, when I followed up with the group that eventually took that bay at 5 PM, they told me they were walk-ins who had not made a reservation. So, not only did Hugo refuse to accommodate a simple request, he also blatantly lied about the reservation. His dismissive and arrogant attitude, made it clear he had no interest in resolving the issue. His ego seemed to take precedence over ensuring a positive customer experience. Instead of listening, he acted as though any feedback was beneath him.
That said, I do want to acknowledge our Event Bay Host, Jordan, who was as sweet as she could be. Despite the management issues with Hugo, Jordan went above and beyond to ensure our experience was as positive as possible. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out, and she deserves a lot of credit for making the best out of a bad situation.
While Jordan was wonderful, the poor management and lack of flexibility from Hugo have left a lasting negative impression. I expected better from Topgolf and won’t be returning anytime soon.
My husband also spends thousands of dollars here to host events for his work staff and he too will no longer do business with the Top Golf in Waco.

So much fun!!! Service and food were excellent and we will definitely come play again!
Very polite staff. We played mini golf which is super cheap and then got the range and played for an hour. We got three games in with 3 people playing. We had an excellent time! Highly recommend even if you don't golf. 10 out of 10

I planned on watching a football game, swinging some clubs, eating some tasty food during my first visit to Waco. However, service was less than adequate. I had one beer and tabbed out. Very disappointing since I always have a good time at all other Topgolf locations.

She took great care of us throughout our visit, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Overall, I was highly impressed with the service from additional staff Alex and would definitely recommend Top Golf to others. Kristia is W!
This was the absolute worst experience i’ve ever had at a top golf. We are from Oklahoma so our Drivers License look differently. Me and my husband spent almost an hour of our play time getting harassed over if our IDs were valid or not. By the time they finally used a scanning app we were able to get our beer and our time was almost up. They embarrassed us in front of our whole group and every one watching. There needs to be a IDing code in place. One guy told us we were good then another comes to double check and swears both of ours are fake. Even after providing my ables license to bartend in oklahoma. We will never go back to this location.

We showed up early and played some cornhole while we waited for our bay to open which did open on time and conveniently thru text. The waitress had drinks on our table very quickly, and we played for 2 hours without any interruptions except for the manager who gave us a gift for visiting. Even though it was really busy we didnt feel rushed or bothered. I would give these guys more stars if i could. Thank you, TopGolf team.
Kid-friendliness: They have golf clubs for our younger kids which really helped them get into the idea of golfing.

My son and I went to Top golf in Waco today. They were very busy. They had 2 large parties happening at the same time. However, Marcus, our waiter was awesome! Made sure our drinks didn’t get too low (especially with how hot it is today!) He even chatted with my son about his shots! We had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you Waco top golf and Marcus needs a raise!

We have been waiting for 30 minutes for a check when we have asked multiple times we are ready to leave and need a check. The people beside us have been waiting for even longer.
Don’t come here if you are wanting to leave straight after your time runs out.

I do not know what the problem was with the night crew, but the bar staff was out of control. We tried to order our second drink an hour after we got here, but as my husband counted, starting with middle finger machines, go figure. Beside the point when he was counting using his hand was not directed at him. We were not mad we were friendly with him and were not causing any problems. We had just walked away from our party playing Jenga. the bartender took offense and physically touched my husband hand to put his finger down. Told him he was telling him he was being rude. I told him not to do that. My husband asked him what was the problem? He told us it was like a big f-u. So confusing 0 to100. Thank goodness for their general manager. Saved the day. They ruined our experience after buying 2 bays and spending hundreds on drinks and food. I will never go to a Waco Top golf again. Our nephew 21 wanted to order food, and the bar tender assumed he was younger and told him he needed water even though he didn't order a drink he wanted food. Pl7s when we looked at the reciets this morning they charged use for our snacks 3x to 3 diferent people. We only ordered 1x!! Wow. Never again.
