My friend ordered his food and waited close to an hour. The food never arrived, and so he asked for a refund. Well it turns out it they never refunded it to his card after multiple phone calls and follow up communication, even with the receipt in hand. So if you get a refund on your card, be wary and make sure it actually posts!

I use to love Torchys when I lived in Waco so I was really excited to come back when I moved back. I sat down at the bar and there maybe was 3 people at the bar with one bartender. Everyone had their drinks and I was excited to eat.The bartender was talking to a guest (which seemed like her friend) and just kept chatting away and telling stories. I just kept quiet waiting for her to finish but it never happened. I tried asking for her to grab a drink and she ignored me. I was waiting for 15 mins when I finally decided to stand up and leave…. That made me extremely sad because I love Torchys but that bartender didn’t even care that I was there. I don’t like putting bad reviews but that was hurtful.

First time trying Torchys and Oscar gave us a warm welcome. He recommended the Matador and it was one of the best tacos I’ve ever had.Next time I think I’ll only order 1 cause 2 tacos was way too much food.
