I was greeted by all employees. They were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing! Sandwiches are pretty big. Couldn’t finish it all, lol. Definitely worth stopping in and supporting a locally owned restaurant.

It's been a while since I've posted a review, but these guys are totally worth it. I had the Torta Cubana. It was huge and delicious! The bread was fresh and had just the right amount of toastiness. It was crunchy but not hard. It was so good I ordered two more tortas to go, just so my family could try them. Great service too! The owner is the cook and the wife is at the register, so you know it'll be good. When in Waco, totally try out this small inconspicuous hole on the wall spot!

Okay, hear me out. We came to this place because of the reviews. Now, I will preface this by saying I am from that Rio Grande Valley and we are about 45 minutes from the Mexican border so we got authentic Mexican food out the ying yang.I came to Waco on business and decided to bring my family here. I tried the Texana and my wife tried the Hawaiiana. My kid had quesadillas. These tortas are huge. I would trade in size for better tasting tortas. My texana torta was just okay. It lacked flavor. My wife's Hawaiiana torta was incredibly salty. Our total bill was $44 and this includes 2 horchatas and 1 lemonade. The jalapenos had zero zip to them.The restaurant location is kinda iffy in my opinion and the place was hot inside. There was a couple of flies that kept annoying us. Needless to say, we we're let down. Lots of potential though. I hope they improve their food and dining experience.

The owners seemed genuine and were overly kind. Plus the food was incredible and more than I could eat! I got the horchata as well and it was the largest cup I’ve ever seen. 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely the best tortas I've had yet. A small little restaurant out in bellmead but when it comes to Mexican food that's really the perfect combination. The cashier lady was very nice and the serving sizes were bigger than I expected. Going back here whenever I get the chance.

Shared the Torta Cubana with my husband because it is HUGE! The ratio of meat/veggie/bread was PERFECT! Seriously worth the drive if you’re close to Waco! The service was great, the people took the time to explain the menu to us in great detail. We will be back!
