Not many vegan choices in Waco but Twisted Root has a delicious vegan burger. I'm so thankful it's not a Beyond Burger or an Impossible Burger.

Absolutely amazing place. Great food selection even for vegetarians. Ample seating, great staff and absolutely love the names they give when we order food. That was a unique touch !
Highlight was the friendly cashier. Food didn't sit well for anyone in our party. Men's room was very dirty. Black stools were falling apart. Ranch pickles from pickle bar were rancid.

The atmosphere is A-MA-ZING! The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Soooooo, while the burgers were good the best thing about the lace was the Black Cherry soda! ?

The restaurant was not clean. The pickle bar had a missing lid, the bathrooms should have been condemned, and in general everything was just not well kept.
The hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious, the sides on the table tasted sour and vinegary and the pickles were not good which then meant the fried pickles were not good either.
The potato chips were super thin and excellent.
It could have been an off night food wise, but the cleanliness was definitely a long term problem.
The bathroom was probably the grossest bathroom I have ever seen in a public space…ever.
Great place for burgers. My wife said the place is cold so be prepared if you get cold easily.

Good was excellent tasting but was cold when it got to me. I watched it sit on the counter and my card wasn't never called, I had to go ask for it.

Cold food, drink machine had no carbonation, then once they finally fixed it, they ran out of ice. Never got our onion straws, and all in all, a pretty dirty place to eat at.
