I ordered what I thought was going to be elotes- corn in a cup right? That is how I assumed it would be EDIBLE corn OFF the cob. Not this. WHY did they have to ruin my elotes? Laziness? Who enjoys corn on the cob anyway?! I feel tricked. Our whole order was nearly $50 and it’s NOT EVER WORTH IT. They think very highly of their corn on the cob like all the other mediocre food they serve, because it cost AT LEAST $5 something. Not for corn in a cup you can eat. No. It’s overpriced, sadistic trickery; I don’t think many people would be pleased to receive their elotes as the corn STILL on the cob. As in, painful to eat. Not even close to what I wanted. Boo. Never ever again WAKO TAKO. It’s a freaking scam. 😭

They have the best burritos in Waco by far. They do have one glaring weakness which is the red salsa as it has gotten better its still more tomato soupish however everything else is amazing especially the green salsa for the burritos.

We were told upon receiving our food, “sorry for not mentioning this sooner but there is a $1 up charge for corn tortillas.” We confirmed this up charge is NOT listed on the menu. The receipt shows we were charged $3 (3 corn tacos) for “avocado.” We asked a Mexican man walking in if they have ever been charged for corn tortillas and he said “sounds like something they would do.” In conclusion, I’m pretty sure we were charged extra for being gringos. Shameful

I had chicken fajita huarache. Very good. Their side green and red salsas were also very good. Clean and small place with a little bar and outdoor uncoverd seating area on turf.
Looks nice on the outside, but beans taste like out of a can and they had hot dogs in it🤢, pico de gallo was not fresh at all🤢, steak meat taste more gamey, so not sure if that fresh enough. Drive thru girl was pleasant and food served fairly fast….and green salsa side was the best out of the entire: Steak Bowl. Came out @$18 for this lunch.
