You will find no better place to “wet your whistle” in Waco! A very nice, upscale drink that almost gives you a speakeasy sort of vibe. Phenomenal view and an absolutely beautiful interior. The bartender… She was amazing and you can’t ask for a more relaxed place.

Loved this place I went here for a first date - despite the fact neither myself nor my date drink alcohol. You really do come here for the atmosphere. The food was delicious, the seating and general atmosphere was perfect. I have social anxiety, so I read through a ton of the reviews that were left by other people. First off, I loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful. The dress code is business casual, and they do list what is not allowed on their website (which is very helpful to people like me who overthink these things).
The only thing I would ask to change, since it is such a great spot, is for a selection of non- alcoholic drinks. It is a bar - which is meant to be alcoholic I know. That is the only thing I would change about this place.

Upscale bar with an eclectic range of drinks and food. Quiet and relaxed, server/bartender was friendly and informative. We have wanted to try *Z's since we first noticed it but had not had the opportunity. If you like different and quality beverages and some good choices for lite yet tasty food, you have to give it a try. We sat outside on a perfect night and had a relaxing couple of hours of conversation and tasty food and drink. We will be back.
