just happened to stop when traveling home. smelled amazing outside so we knew we were in for a treat. i recommend getting there early as the menu was limited by the end of the day when we got there - Got lucky though & had an amazing pork sandwich & potato salad. place is simple but good & authentic.

I have always wanted to try this place but could never catch it open. I finally did. It’s a no frills place with the owner working the counter. I had brisket, ribs and sausage. I got the beans as a side. The brisket was nothing special and was ok. A little dry. Maybe got there too late as it was a little dry. The ribs were very good and were seasoned excellent. The sausage was good as well. The beans were ok but could have used a little more spice for my taste. Prices are good compared to others in the area. Will try it again.

The owner says he just likes to cook food. The hours may not be accurate, but definitely worth checking to see if they're open. BBQ was amazing. Small "hole in the wall" with indoor seating. Definitely where all the locals go.
