Cielito Lindo Restaurant Reviews
Mid-afternoon. Very slow service. Had to find a waiter several times. Sat outside due to the bar section allowing smoking. Pinacolada cocktails had no alcohol or coconut. Basically frozen pineapple juice. Tasted really poor. Mentioned it at the checkout and was completely ignored.
I loved the shrimp enchiladas and sopapillas. The main entree's plate was hot, like it is supposed to be.
Super dissatisfied I feel sorry for the employees that have to deal with working in an oven basically. Couldn’t enjoy our food and our kids were getting very upset. I didn’t know we’d be having dinner in a sauna.
2 weeks without ac is crazy for a restaurant in Texas.
The food was good except burnt rice and we didn’t get to finish our dinner their. Had to take it home because it was just too hot.

Cielito Lindo Restaurant is a dining establishment located near a Tomball area, known for its friendly staff and popular Sunday visits. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with the mole enchiladas being a notable favorite for its delicious taste. Recently, guests have enjoyed meals like Carne Asada, which was praised for its good quality meat and delicious sides. During breakfast hours, fresh coffee is available. The restaurant features murals that create a lively atmosphere, making guests feel like they are in little Mexico inside. Many visitors appreciate the food's great flavor and affordability, especially the mole enchiladas and two pork chops, which are filling and tasty. The staff are friendly and bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish, and provide good service. Some reviews noted that the service can be fast and engaging, with attentive staff ensuring drinks are kept full. However, during dinner, food and service can be inconsistent, with dishes like beef/shrimp fajitas sometimes lacking flavor and taking longer to serve. A few guests mentioned that smoking is still allowed inside, which may affect the experience. Overall, Cielito Lindo has strengths in its flavorful food and welcoming ambiance but may not always match the service levels of other top restaurants in Cypress.
