We recently bought a plate from a local fundraising event and it was nothing short of awful. The CFS was tough as boot leather….. note we bought 10 plates and ALL the chicken fried steaks were beyond tough. The sides were meh, nothing fabulous. I understand seasonings are limited for reasons but the quality over all was not good. I felt terrible for the organization hosting the fundraiser…… embarrassing for these poor folks along with all the complaints.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I had used them for my wedding and had set up for 75 people. Well I had about 60-65 rsvp’s so 75 plates would be plenty. Turns out only about 50 people showed up and I had already planned on tons of leftovers I would just freeze.Well at the end of the night there was not a single thing to pack up as leftovers. The food was so good everyone took some home or had 2nd’s throughout the night!I chose their home style cooking, chicken fried steak & chicken fried chicken, butter potatoes, corn and green beans.I still cannot believe I did not have any leftovers with all the no shows. But that just goes to show how yummy their food is.

They catered a large reunion. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were stone cold, dry, and tasted like old grease; inedible meal. They also ran out of silverware packets. Very disappointing.

Ben’s Chuck Wagon provided the meal for our church fundraiser. He provided and excellent meal and service. We will definitely hire him again!

The event was for a meal after a funeral. The guest had already arrived and were seated and waiting. The service from this catering company is to be questioned. The server was VERY unprofessional. Showed up in a nasty muscle shirt and shorts without an apron on. She was already 30min late. No cutlery was with our order. There were to be 7 gallons of tea and the server dropped one outside. And when she explained that she had she said “ Oh well you were supposed to have 7 gallons of tea but I dropped one outside. You still have 6, that should be enough”. She kept referring to and blaming a “she” as a third person. Said “she” didn’t load the van properly, “she” didn’t make sure I had everything I needed. I finally asked her who “she” was. And the server couldn’t answer and turned around and walked away. The food was cold the server wasn’t sure what kind of entree was to be deliver and how much. My friend used this service for feeding their family. And I felt so bad for the terrible service she was given today.

Today Ben catered Turkey & Dressing 600 plates in Needville Tx . It was so awful we couldn’t eat it . We bought 7 plates at $12.00 plate . Dressing was just cornbread no seasoning no gravy , Turkey was not done and sweet potatoes were stringy . Green beans ok Never again
