I finally visited the town of Wallis to try these empanadas! What a treat! As you can see, I went hungry and couldn’t decide what flavors to choose, so I ended up with 2 dozen! Highly recommend these savory morsels, you won’t be disappointed! Try the Florentine, it is now a family favorite!

OMG!! So good!! I only wish there was a dining room to enjoy these delicious delights! The spicy pulled pork was our favorite, but there’s so many we want to try! Peanut butter and jelly was pretty amazing too!

I was so excited when I drove by and saw that there was a Marini's right down the road from me! We used to go to the Katy location all the time (and it was far away from us). Then I would drive to the beltway location when the Katy one closed. My faves: Beef (Gaucho), Hawaiian, and Apple Gabriela. I haven't tried any of the sandwiches because the empanadas are just too good to pass on! Now that I know this place is only 15 minutes away, I will be visiting more and trying new things! Delicious!

Sweet apple empanadas are super tasty. The meat and chicken ones are nice too. Ate a few on site and took a few back home. The stuff were friendly and courteous. There's a small unpaved parking behind the store.

Great place that we found on our travel back and forth from Houston and San Antonio. Now it’s become our must make stop. Generously filled empanadas and the best part is they are made fresh when you order them.

Stopped in as we drove through Wallis. The food is wonderful!! It’s all to go and the nice gentleman brought it out to our car as we waited. So good!! Spicy Pork and Cheese-Jalepeno empanadas were a reason to drive back to Wallis in the future.

Stopped by for lunch. It’s a small cute place. No inside seating but there’s a few tables on the side walk. Lots of empanada options to try including dessert ones and They have a coffee menu also. Staff was super nice. You gotta swing by and try this gem

Delicious food and very friendly staff. 3.75 per empanada and you could be content with two getting you out for about 10$ each. Nearly unheard of now a days.

We drove all the way to Walis because we missed our “Friday’s empanadas”. Same quality… the best empanadas ..worthy of the drive . Really nice to see a 3rd generation running a family business.
