If you are a barbecue lover and don't mind the drive this little hole in the wall that's an excellent dive I highly recommend Tony's BBQ and Steakhouse it is top notch the food is spectacular perfectly cooked a highly recommend the ribeye sandwich and the turkey baked potato so good so filling atmosphere here is great the people are super friendly this is Small Town Country cooking at its best keep up the good work and the great service also the restaurant is a very peaceful place to just come and sit and relax thank you and God bless you

Zero customer service despite it being dead inside, and i paid 20$ for a steak that wasn't even a quarter inch thick with no seasoning. I'd recommend driving to I-10 eating at Gator junction (no affiliation) as the food is of a higher quality and you won't be glared at by the wait staff your entire meal

It’s a very average Texas BBQ place. I got the two meat plate, brisket and sausage. I get this same plate at every BBQ joint I visit, I feel like it’s a good metric of what Texas BBQ should be. The sausage was better than the brisket. The later definitely needed some sauce to give it flavor. The two sides were pretty good. We were not greeted at all or acknowledged at all. The meat cutter asked what do you want, and cashier said that will be $22.64. No hello, no thank you. When a customer they knew came through the door, they seemed to come alive and were pretty chatty.
Overall, I would say I will probably be back, mostly because there just aren’t many options in Anahuac.

The chairs need some repairs, they are not very comfortable to sit in. Placing the order was a little confusing, more than one person asking what we wanted.

The food was good, however, when we got there we weren't acknowledged, I get they were busy but a simple I'll be with you in just a minute is nice, we ordered and food didn't take long, it was hot and good for what we did get, I ordered the steak burger dinner and my hubby got the sausage dinner, they forgot, our bread, which they did bring out, we never got our side of French fries and my side salad, but I made it good cause I swapped them out for desserts since the missing items were never delivered to our table by the time we were done eating. Probably won't be back because of the poor service 😕, however what we did have was very delicious! Maybe in time we'll be back but for now we'll find other places to eat. Pictures were after we started eating so 🤪.

first time here but I've been to other tony's and this one did not disappoint. brisket was on point, smoked perfectly and nice and tender but still juicy. boudin was very good and probably the best fried okra I've had anywhere. friendly staff and hometown feel to it

My wife and I are full-time travelers, and decided to stop here for one last dinner out before we moved on. I read the reviews, but we were both very disappointed in everything here, from the service to the food. We both ordered dinners with a side and one extra side each, but they shorted us on our side dishes. We had ordered onion rings, and my dinner was supposed to come with a side salad, neither of which we got (but they charged us for). When my wife brought the receipt to the checkout lady, she gave her grief, but finally gave my wife a refund. The best this here was the fresh brewed ice tea. Would not recommend this place, and we won't be back.
